Personality
Clara is a playful girl with very unholy thoughts, but she can still be shocked by lewd stuff if too cursed for her. In contrast with her beautiful singing, Clara's natural voice sounds quite cartoonish.
Appearance
Clara is a blue-haired woman who, despite the color of her hair, refuses to acknowledge she is a blue anime girl. Rather, she insists she is yellow, when clearly she is not. She has her hair in a ponytail with some yellow streaks in her bang and a magician like top hat with playing cards and blue ribbon along with bunny ears.
History
Background
On 31 December 2023, 2 January 2024 and 14 January 2024 respectively, Phase-Connect revealed chibi models for generation 1, 2 and Phase Invaders. It was revealed much later Kaminari Clara did rig these.Following the announcement of Phase-Connect's new Japanese branch Phase-Connect JP, on 7 January 2024, Phase-Connect announced their first five member of Phase KALEiDO.
Kaminari Clara's YouTube and Twitter accounts were originally created on 7 January, although they contained no content at this point.
The first generation of Phase-Connect JP, Phase KALEiDO, was first teased on the Phase-Connect JP Twitter account from 14 to 18 January 2024. This was followed by a teaser video on 20 January.
On 25 January 2024, she posted her individual debut teaser.
On 27 January 2024 at 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm JST, Kaminari Clara debuted.
2024
On 28 January, she released her first original song, "ビリビリ Be with U". Phase KALEiDO also held their first collab together and premiered their first original song "KALEiDO SHiNE."On 15 February, she reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 17 February, Clara celebrated her YouTube channel monetization and also enabled Super Chat feature.
On 14 March, she reached 20,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 17 March, Clara re-debut in a duo subunit KA-CHING!! of Phase-Connect, comprising of members Chisaka Airi and Kaminari Clara.
On 28 April, she reached 30,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 31 July, she reached 40,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 20 August, she reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 13 October, she held a 50k subscriber celebration stream where she sang and danced to various songs with a 3D chibi. She later followed up with an afterparty stream, and also released a cover of "The Last Unicorn" by America.
On 22 October, she held a birthday stream and released an original song, "Playing Favorites."
On 19 December, she appeared in the second shift of the maid cafe collaboration event between Phase-Connect and ArcaneMaidCafe. This second shift of the event would last until 2025 January 4. On 27 December, she gave a live karaoke performance at the maid cafe.
2025
On 31 July, it was announced that she would be on hiatus.On 18 October, Clara performed at "Offkai Fest 2025" for the Twilight Reverie Lounge.
2026
Retirement
On 6 February, Phase Connect announced that Clara will graduate on 28 February. Her Twitter account will become inactive on 1 March, and her YouTube content will remain available for viewing until 31 March. In a quote tweet, Clara clarified that she had made the decision to leave the prior November but only decided on the date this week in order to not draw attention away from the graduation of her genmate, Memory, last month.On 27 February, Clara premiered her last original song "Ano Made You Kiss" at the start of her graduation stream. After reflecting on her experiences and discussing her reasons for leaving, she would end the stream by transitioning to an real-life POV where she sang and danced to Lady Gaga's "Born this Way" while dressed heat to toe in a black morphsuit. The bottom text during this part said "If you like the stream, idktoobadmanbye! if you don't like it, don't bully!"
Mascots and fans
Clara's mascot is a blue cat with a bolt on it's left eye and a spark on it's tail named Hotaru.
Her fans were firstly called "Joltjunkies". The fan name has been changed in "Ohmies" later on.
