Izuru is a straightforward person who holds a deep passion for music. He's also a very insightful and mature person, giving thoughtful advice to his viewers in marshmallow streams and unafraid to set boundaries if need be. That said, he also has a playful, cute streak that often shows itself when he does gaming streams or collabs.

A notable trait of his voice is its husky and nasally quality, which gives his singing its own distinction. In addition, his vocal range is quite flexible, to the point that he's able to disguise his voice as that of a girl's, a trait he shares with Astel.

The name stems from their collab streams for the co-op survival game RAFT. Izuru grew attached to this series of stream to the point where he didn't want them to end. Thus, as they finished the released content of RAFT and couldn't advance anymore, they chose a different survival game to continue this group.

Trivia

Izuru shares his character designer with Nekozeno Shin of NoriPro Gamers and Ike Eveland of NIJISANJI EN.
Izuru is the third debuted member of HOLOSTARS and is part of its early debut generation whom consists of Hanasaki Miyabi and Kagami Kira.
In a Minecraft stream while talking to viewers, Miyabi revealed that off-stream, Izuru is very kind and caring. Especially, Izuru gives him lots of sudden hugs. Further stating Izuru tends to also give members a random shoulder massages or hug their leg with the posture that looks like Dakkochan.
Izuru is also very close with Kira considering the amount of same interests and streams they have done together. In a few public streams, he mentioned that despite doing all they could for Kira and wanting him to stay, in the end, it was Kira's own decision to graduate from HOLOSTARS.
Izuru shared that he used to do busking or street performances but had to stop doing it after becoming a virtual YouTuber, noting that he does miss doing it.
Izuru has said in a livestream that he was born on the Tsushima island and was rather surprised that Ghost of Tsushima made a game about it.
It has been revealed through multiple streams that he is a university student.
Izuru was in the final stages of university and working on his Bachelor’s thesis.

Izuru has mentioned that his favourite Studio Ghibli movie is "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind", and his second favourite being "Princess Mononoke".
Izuru reached Master rank in Apex on the 22 March 2021, while accompanied by Astel Leda and Utai Meika. This rank was only achieved by 0.12% of players in season 8.
Izuru lives in the countryside and enjoys walking along the beach, as well as fishing.
Through his Twitter, Izuru has showed his cooking skills by posting pictures of his self cooked meals.
Sometimes, he will forage for wild vegetables as he has tweeted saying how he found a certain vegetable and that it would be part of today's meals.
He likes fishing and would tweet sometimes when he's going fishing or has gone fishing whether he had any catches or not. He has also stated that he would cook his fishes on a stick sitting on the ground by a fire pit. Of course, when he finishes, he cleans up properly before heading home.

In a collab stream with his vtuber sibling, Nekozeno Shin from NoriPro, Izuru was asked how he joined HOLOSTARS. Izuru revealed that at the time he had sent in his application, hololive (before it became hololive Production) were only recruiting female talents but he was informed that they're thinking of making a male vtuber group, too. When the male branch came to fruition, Izuru was contacted for an interview and made it in. Izuru also added that before this he did attempt to make his own vtuber character but after some struggle he stopped.

On 27 February, Izuru debuted his fifth 2D costume to celebrate his 100,000 subscribers milestone.

On 30 August, HOLOSTARS revealed an original voice drama titled, "Highschool Holography" to include all of the nine HOLOSTARS members along with featuring all four UPROAR!! members as guests. The drama cd will be released into two parts with the first part to release on November 5, 2022 and the second part to be announced at a later date.

On 21 September, it was announced that in celebration of the upcoming HOLOSTARS 2nd ACT 3D live concert, 3 new original unit songs would be released.

On 23 October, Izuru reached 200,000 subscribers, being the fifth HOLOSTARS member to reach this milestone.

On 27 November, he revealed his autumn/winter costume. designed by his original illustrator TCB and modeled by Kawanami.

2024

On 1 June, Izuru debuted his seventh 2D costume.
