On 26 August 2023, VirtuaReal announced their twentieth generation of Virtual Livers, including Mikoto, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. The article focuses on INTRO, the male part of the generation. He uploaded his first video on the same day.

Originally he was going to debut on 3 September, however, due to Garu and Kurau's terminations, he ended up debuting 5 days later on 8 September.
