On the far far away Puppy Planet, puppies live happily together, and Mofu is just an ordinary puppy. In the ancient legends of this planet, there were legendary creatures called "humans," said to be the best companions of dogs.
When Mofu was still a student, her biggest wish was to use her future earnings to buy a figurine of a human to decorate her home. After graduating from Puppy Academy, Mofu was on her way to her 18th company interview when she heard a cry of surprise from fellow passing dogs. Mofu turned and saw a dog holding a giant human figure in its mouth! Engrossed in the sight, Mofu lost her footing and fell into a deep, dark hole.
When she pushed open the manhole cover and saw the light of day, she discovered that the people walking around her were actually real people. Before Mofu could recover from her stunned state, a message arrived on her phone: "Interview invitation #19, VirtuaReal." While VR allowed Mofu to meet more people, it also brought with it troubles.
On Puppy Planet, punching holes in soda crackers and giving out Chips Ahoy! chocolate chips were both highly skilled tasks, and Mofu had earned perfect scores in both. She assumed she would shine in this human world, but to her surprise, none of her skills were truly useful.
