Personality
RiiKami is a confident and egotistical character. He knows he looks good, so why not show it off? RiiKami is an idol gone to the extreme to make those around him adore him, to keep their eyes on him and himself alone. He wants to present himself as the best for his fans, to be their one and only.
However, this is not how Kami himself acts towards his viewers. On his live streams, Kami has been shown to act very kind, selfless and caring. He treats his community as if they were his family and proudly displays his space as somewhere his followers can be comfortable in. Kami shows a strong sense of maturity. He is very passionate and hardworking, so much so he will even work on his break days.
Kami is very playful and engages in playful banter with his community. Commonly, the obsessions may tease him or make fun of him for losing in games, and in retaliation he may timeout or ban his chatters, temporarily of course, to show them who the boss is. He is most comfortable engaging in banter with his friends. On stream Kami will often make noises for stimulation because of his ADHD, such as the barks of a seal, and his community will often spam in chat in response to his stims. Kami believes its cute that the community follows his vocal stims.
Kami is overwhelmingly proud of his community and how they represent him. He absolutely adores them as much as they adore him. His obsessions are his reason for working so hard, as he wants to be someone worth following.
Appearance
RiiKami, although a god, has a very human-like appearance. His build is more on the top-heavy side, and he stands at a mighty 6’4 (193 cm). Kami’s hair is bright purple and tied into a ponytail that rests on his shoulder with bangs held back by hair pins. His hair has streaks of white in it, said to be from the stress that comes from using his powers. Sitting upon his head is a dark crown embedded with bright jewels.
Kami’s eyes are a series of light and dark blues, his pupils in the shape of stars. Kami himself said this part of his design was inspired by the anime “Oshi no Ko”. Under both of his eyes lie deep red scars, these scars having stuck through all processes of the designing for his character. His mouth is adorned with fangs, one of them consistently peaks out from his mouth when it is closed.
Kami has a total of 12 piercings on his character; 4 on each of his ears, 1 on his lip, 1 on each of his nipples, which are usually covered by either a black compression shirt or crown stickers, and 1 on his belly button.
On Kami’s neck is a red tattoo displaying the kanji “神” which means ‘god’ in Japanese. It can also be written as the word ‘kami’.
Kami has described his character’s clothing as “idol culture look if it was pushed to the extremities by the pressure of what was wanted.” His outfit is all shades of purple and black. A long coat sits on his shoulders, the end of the coat embellished with various purple flames. Kami can toggle this coat on and off of his model. On his neck sits a choker that connects to the black compression shirt he wears which does not cover his full mid-section. Kami can toggle this shirt so it exposes his chest and the laced decoration underneath, and he can also take the shirt off completely. Kami’s left hand is the only hand with a glove.
Kami wears long black pants embellished with several straps, one of them also having the kanji “神”. The pants do not completely cover his legs, revealing his purple socks. He wears black shoes that are also displayed with purple flames and have a heel at the back. Kami says these heels probably make him taller than he usually is.
Kami has a few toggles for this model. As said before, he is able to both remove his coat and put it on, can put on and take off his shirt, and both put on and remove the crown stickers on his chest. In addition, Kami can blush, have his model cry, can stick out his tongue, can cast a shadow over his eyes, and can make himself look angry. He can also change the color of his pupils from black to white.
History
Before his debut as a VTuber he made (and still makes) content on his ASMR channel, which was originally created on 31 October 2020.
Lore
"RiiKami” was originally a boy born from the slums, lacking much in knowledge and power in his younger years, making his memory inherently bad. Though he is nowhere near lucky himself, he is surrounded by an aura that brings luxury and luck. This aura managed to bring his family out of the slums, but also caused him to be tortured, berated, and beaten by the royals. With the death of his original parents, Kami became enraged. Royalty became the only thing to introduce him to the world he was in, a cruel, desolate world. This god’s story isn’t a happy one. His fate follows the worst of paths, he could have everything and lose it all in an instant. He is alone, destined to live an unhappy ending. This was his “Never Happy Ever After”.
Kami is what is called an "unknown god" and is commonly referred to by the followers he calls his "obsessions" as a yandere king.

“RiiKami” was a boy born through a silver light, dropping straight down into a forest where a family from the slums had taken him in. At his young age he lacked much knowledge and struggled to remember anything. The boy himself was very unlucky, however, there had seemed to be an aura around him that brought great luck to others. Throughout his time living with this family, he had managed to bring them great luck and fortune. The royals quickly noticed this and sought out the boy at his young age.
Though the family tried to hide him, the boy was taken and imprisoned by the royal family, where they had put on the facade that RiiKami was their own son. He lived with the family for years, dealing with mistreatment and being regarded as more of an animal than a human being.
One day, he had overheard the guards of the family laughing to one another, revealing to him that the royal family had murdered the kind people who had first taken him in. Knowing this, RiiKami became infuriated, and though being only the age of 11, felt a great power within him that was released with his immense anger. The royals he once thought were the best of what he had, were revealed to be corrupted and ruthless. RiiKami, in a blind rage, unleashed his power on the royals, murdering the corrupted king and queen.
“A God’s Wrath”; every god’s breaking point.
There are many more stories that follow the tale of RiiKami; who he is and what he stands for. His tale is not great nor amazing, his fate is destined for the worst ending. “Your end will be a tragedy, no matter your friends or how much power you obtain. You shall hold this fate until your last breath.”

Kami is what is known as the “God of Reality”, a deity capable of creating and exploring different worlds. His following, which he has given the name of “obsessions”, come in the form of digital black cats that lead him down the best path he can take. The obsessions commonly refer to him as king despite not being a royal himself.
2021
On 12 May, Kami released his first ever original song "Be Your King" under the RiiKami ASMR alias.
On 4 June, he released his first original rap "Ego Hero". On 3 August, he released his original song "Godly Treat".
On 11 August, RiiKami unveiled his first ever VTuber model on Twitter.
On 5 September, RiiKami debuted his first model on stream.
On 4 October, he released a new lore outfit. Although there was a video on his VTuber channel about said outfit, it was only ever used once.
On 12 October, Kami reached 100,000 followers on TikTok.
On 13 October, he reached 50,000 subscribers on the ASMR YouTube Channel.
On 18 October, he officially announced his fanbase would be known as his "Obsessions".
On 29 October, he reached 5,000 followers on Twitch.
On 31 October, Kami held his first 24-hour stream to celebrate his one-year anniversary on his ASMR channel. He also released a new original song titled "My Obsessions".
On 11 November, Kami announced he would be doing his first Twitch Partner push.

On 13 February, Kami released a cover of "Boyfriend" originally by Ariana Grande in collaboration with fellow VTuber Meidomyu.

On 19 March, Kami held a RiiDebut where he unveiled a new outfit for his VTuber model and a new hairstyle. This date also marked his first collaboration with UwU Market where merch with his model would be sold. This merch drop also contained a signed poster that would only be available till 26 March. He would later release a new original titled "Reality Break" for this debut.
On 27 March, he reached 10,000 followers on Twitter.

On 5-8 January, Kami attended the annual convention Anime Los Angeles as a special guest with fellow VTubers Persephone, Numi, and Tobs, where he would appear on a live panel for the news show "Things VTubers Say." This was also an opportunity for fans to meet Kami in person and get limited merchandise.
On 13 January, Kami held a 24-hour stream for his belated birthday.
On 25 January, he reached 15,000 listeners on Spotify.
On 6 February, Kami reached 20,000 listeners on Spotify.

On 2 February, it was announced that RiiKami would be a special guest at UwU Land for Weebcon 2024. On 9 March, Kami debuted his new 3.0 model. During this debut, he released a merch drop with UwU Market that consisted of several posters, one in which he would sign, a standee, a body pillowcase, a booby mousepad and a booty mousepad of his new model. At the same time, Kami released a music video for his new original song "Lies are Love".
On 20 March, Merryweather announced a Fall Guys Tournament with Kami being on the list of participants. The tournament took place 2 days later on 22 March.
On 27 March, Kami Announced he would be going to Weebcon
On 29 March, Kami released limited time merch which was only available during Weebcon. The merch consisted of a poster and sticker.
