Previously known as “Roy Zoga”, Roy first posted a reference of his 1.0 model on July 16th.
On 20 August, Roy officially debuted as a VTuber.
2022
On 8 April, Roy reached 20k followers on his “royzoga” TikTok page. On May 1st, he managed to reach 30k followers on TikTok.
2023
On 2 April, Roy announced that he would be taking an indefinite Hiatus effective from April 6th onwards.
On 25 May, after almost two months into his hiatus, Roy announced he would be returning through a redebut on June 1st under the new name “Roy Chiato.” It has been stated multiple times that the surname adjustment is made through the reference “like a macchiato.”.
On 20 December, Roy hosted a Special Event stream which acted as the debut of his 3.0 model. He also released his first cover song of “Mother, I'm here” from the Bastion OST.
2024
On 23 April, Roy released his second cover of “From the Start” by Laufey.
On 1 July, Roy shared the first look of his 4.0 model on X.
2025
On 13 February, Roy announced an official date for his 4.0 model, stating it would take place on February 27th 9PM CST / 7PM PST. Additionally, it was mentioned he would be on Twitch's front page.
On 21 February, Roy had his final stream featuring his 3.0 model.
On 27 February, Roy officially debuted his 4.0 model. He also reached 30k subscribers on his Twitch channel before his redebut.
On 6 May, Roy reached 30k subscribers on his main YouTube channel.
