2020
On 24 September, Canon uploaded an Apex Legends gameplay video, which is her earliest public video upload using her first model. She refers to herself as a newbie VTuber in the video title.
2021
On 19 June, Canon did a PUBG stream, which is now her earliest public stream on YouTube.
By the end of June, she became an overnight sensation within the Japanese FPS community on YouTube after her collaborations and interactions in Apex Legends with Vodka, a popular streamer and owner of the e-sports team RIDDLE, and CR Ojiji, the owner of e-sports team Crazy Raccoon (and also one of the founders of a VTuber agency that would later be known as Neo-Porte), resulted in clips that went viral from the intensity of her personality and her over-the-top reactions.
On 2 July, her channel's subscriber count jumped to over 62,000 from just 28,000 on 1 July, gaining over 34,000 new subscribers in one night.
On 3 July, her channel reached 70,000 subscribers. According to her agency, by this time she had gained nearly 50,000 new subscribers in only 2 days, showing a screenshot of a ranking page from ikioi-ranking.com where Canon is at #5 most popular YouTube livestreams in Japan, behind (#1), Usada Pekora (#2), Kuzuha (#3) and mutuu gaming (#4).
On 4 July, her channel reached 100,000 subscribers.
On 29 September, she joined Inc.'s muchoo support group for musicians.
On 22 November, she did her first birthday stream and debuted her first Live2D model, this replaces her old REALITY app 3D model as her default model. This 2D model has two costumes from the start: her base green sweater + miniskirt and thigh-high kneesocks look (1st costume) and a cream white sleepwear outfit (2nd costume).
2022
On 24 April, she debuted her 3rd 2D costume. The theme is idol outfit.
On 22 November, she did her second birthday stream and debuted two new 2D costumes: a two-piece dress with a sweater top and a long coat (4th costume), and a long white dress (5th costume). This update also notably allows her to change her hair color from her default light brown to black.

On 22 November, she did her third birthday stream and debuted three new 2D costumes: a streetwear outfit with a black top + gray shorts and navy blue jacket (6th costume), a streetwear outfit with a white top + black skirt and white jacket (7th costume), and a long blue-gray dress (8th costume).
2024
On 14 December, she did a stream that she designated as her third anniversary stream, and debuted her ninth 2D costume: a casual salmon-colored, oversized shirt. The theme is indoor wear/roomwear. She did a recap showing all her other costumes before the reveal.

- On 25 December 2021, she participated in the CR Apex Festival. Differing from the usual Apex tournament format, all teams except for team HIKAKIN are shuffled each round, and any player who defeats will receive a 1 million JPY prize. She placed 56th in the overall ranking out of 57 (team HIKAKIN's 3 players are not counted in the lobby of 60 players).
- On 16 January 2022, Canon participated in the Crazy Raccoon Cup (CR Cup) 8 Apex tournament along with Wokka (CR) and Ru as team "Wokkanonderu~?" (ウォッかのんでRu～？). Her team got 15th place in the overall ranking.
- On 28 January 2022, she participated in the FFL SELeCT CUP #2 Apex Legends tournament as team "Team Sakusan Canon" along with AhnuG and PinoNolR. The team took 19th place in the overall ranking.
- On 15 November 2022, the magazine VTuber Style announced the limited time sale (in Lawson branches all across Japan) of the "VTuber Style Sakusan Canon BOOK" (VTuberスタイル 酢酸かのんBOOK), a limited edition booklet containing 16 full color pages that also includes a special interview of Canon and more information on her activities.
