She’s described as a half angel, half elf girl who was bullied and pushed into the human world, leaving her with a sharp tongue and a rough-edged persona. The “Shiotenshi” name comes from the salty treatment she got at her part-time job, where she worked in a maid café while living in a shabby four-tatami apartment.
