Shiyu is known for her kind, bubbly, and welcoming personality. Viewers often describe her streams as relaxing and peaceful, as she consistently tries to make everyone feel included. She is highly interactive with chat and makes an effort to ensure no one feels left out.

She loves animals and owns a dog herself. Even when she gets annoyed, her reactions are often described as adorable - sometimes even cuter than her normal demeanor.

While she loves video games, she doesn't consider herself particularly skilled. This results in genuine, wholesome reactions whenever she achieves something in-game, creating some of the community's favorite moments.

Shiyu describes herself as a Samoyed–cat hybrid (Samo Cat). She has white hair with purple ends, pink inner hair, and tricolored hair flaps consisting of white, pink, and black, along with purple-to-lilac gradient eyes. She features cat ears and a very fluffy, Samoyed-like tail, which fans often note as one of her most distinctive traits.

Another distinctive feature is her ahoge, which stands out prominently and is considered one of her signature design elements.

Shiyu created her Twitter account in January 2020, followed by her Twitch account on 27 December 2020. Her YouTube channel was later created on 14 February 2023.

She began her journey on Twitch as an art streamer, initially streaming exclusively in German.

As her community grew and her content evolved, Shiyu gradually transitioned from German-language streams to fully English streams. Through this shift, she embraced a broader audience and developed the cozy, engaging streaming style she is known for today.
