Uka

Uka describes himself as someone who "likes to laugh heartily but has a cautious personality" and "likes to talk but is very socially anxious".

He has short, slightly spiked blond hair with a red streak and wears a futuristic sci-fi jacket. He has heterochromia with a red and blue eye.

On 25 September 2021, Uka was announced as part of VirtuaReal's fifteenth generation. Uka also released his first video, a cover of a VOCALOID song titled "得过且过的勇者" (The Drifting Hero), on the same day.

On 4 October 2021, Uka was the first member of 157 to debut on stream. He started off his stream by playing Mahjong Soul, gave a presentation about himself (including some of his likes and dislikes), and ended the stream with some singing and chatting.

• 「Hello新世界」(Hello New World Project) - a group proprosed by Yomiya, consisting of Yomiya, Uka, Tanoshiba, Tocci, Yog, and, Susam, all of which received a make-over model on 20 August, 2022. They have since collaborated several times.

• Uka's fans are called "友友" (lit. friend-friend) and his fan medal tag is "夏之友" (Friend of Summer).

• Color: #A72424 * Uka is a human hero from another world. * Uka's Chinese name, "友夏" (yǒuxià), is phonetically derived from the Japanese term for hero, "勇者" (yūsha). * Uka's weapon is a type of sword called a shuangshou jian. The sword has an eye mounted in the center of the crossguard and parts of the edge appear to have broken off. * Uka's right eye is red due an injury he sustained on his final mission before coming to this world. A lack of treatment eventually led to the development of an eye technique called "劫魔焱" (lit. Calamity Magic Flame). He has likened this to power to Uchiha Itachi's Amaterasu. ** The color of Uka's eyes change depending on his mood. When he is calm, both eyes are blue. When he is more excited, his right eye turns red. When his mood is even more severe, both eyes will be red. * Uka's streams consist of "zatsudans, singing, Mahjong, and other games and special activities".

• Uka's likes include cola, the Anemo element from Genshin Impact, Mahjong, and the human race. He dislikes BUG. ** Uka generally prefers Pepsi over Coca-Cola. * Besides McDonald's, other foods that Uka likes include shaokao, shaorou, shuan rou (e.g., shuan yangrou), hot pot, maocai, chuan chuan, dandan noodles, jianbing, hot dry noodles, shumai, hulatang & youbing, hui mian, rice vermicelli, luosifen, Su-style noodles, duck blood / beef / mutton and vermicelli soup, guantang bao, xiaolongbao, guotie, three/five filling bao, steamed jiaozi, Chinese fried rice, jiaozi, little wontons, zongzi, chaoshou, economy rice, rice noodle rolls, chao hefen, congee (with no pork liver), spring rolls, guotiao, local specialty soups with meat, and many more. * Foods that Uka dislikes include okra, zhe ergen, durian, and other controversial ingredients and dishes. * Uka likes songs that feature different Chinese dialects (e.g., some Cantonese and Minnan music). He especially likes Sichuanese rap. Musical artists that he likes include the Higher Brothers and by affiliation, other artists from Chengdu Rap House (CDC) and 88rising. His favorite singer is Jay Chou. ** Uka held a Jay Chou singing stream where he sang 32 of the artist's songs. * Anime series that Uka likes include Monogatari, Re:Zero, K-On!, and Akagi. K-On! is his 入宅作 (rù zhái zuò): the series that got him into anime. * Uka has played countless video games including MOBAs like Dream of the Three Kingdoms (梦三国), League of Legends, and Honor of Kings. His first game in the ACG sphere was Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur.

• Uka, as 沙漏 (Hourglass), submitted a partial cover of Jay Chou's "Secret" as an entry for one of Azusa's fan singalongs on 31 July 2021, weeks before his debut. He felt it would be easier to duet with her through this fan event rather than as a VirtuaReal Liver post debut. * Uka considers himself an older brother to the other members of 157. * Uka met with Isabella, Hakuja, and Keke in his first offline meeting involving other Livers. He talked about his experience in a stream shortly after. * The first thing Uka wants to do should he get his 3D model is run on VirtuaReal's treadmill – as seen in the BiliBiliWorld 2021 program, "Running Fitness: Learn About It" (跑步健身了解一下) – to "see if [he] will melt into snow [sic]". * Uka has prepared original songs or parodies for each 157 member's birthday: ** Untitled parody of "Old Town Road" for Keke ** "Key" for Yog ** "饕餮" (Taotie) for Hunger * Uka originally wanted to cover "危险派对" (Dangerous Party) with Nox, but he was beaten to the punch by Tocci. * Uka gets motion sick from playing video games with 3D graphics. * Uka's act of opening his debut stream with mahjong wasn't well received by everyone. Thus, he was very hesitant to stream mahjong for a number of days after debuting.

During his career, Uka has saved the world over a hundred times and inspired hope, love, and countless legends! The spoils dropped from killing the Demon King have already filled his little cabin to the brim. However, he couldn't care less about these achievements now! There always comes a day when a sword loses its edge and today is the day he... lays his cards on the table.

"Village chief, thank you for the thorough mission briefing, but don't you think there's something wrong with our world? How can a 'normal' world experience a world-ending crisis every three days; are heroes not allowed to rest even on Saturdays? Forget it, these things don't matter anymore; I've decided to retire from being a hero starting from today."
"Please don't, there's something we should discuss; at least wait for your year-end bonus before deciding."
"You gave me this same excuse three years ago, then three years after and you'll do it again three years after that. I don't care; I've already written my letter of resignation."
"Then let's have you do a final mission on top of this one—don't leave, let me finish. This additional mission is a foreign assignment where it just so happens that you don't need to return for a debriefing once you're done. The current mission and this new one will both have your rewards paid in advance, okay?"
Although Uka had already been set on leaving, the bountiful mission rewards were just too tempting and the village chief's words seemed fairly reasonable as well. However, the first mission's battle turned out to be more difficult than he had imagined. Even though Uka was a veteran warrior, he still found himself caught in an unprecedented predicament!

Fortunately, before expending all of his healing items, Uka succeeded once more in adding a new Demon King entry to his list of kills!

Directly after the completion of this mission, the letter for the final mission opened itself. After experiencing a white flash, Uka opened his eyes to find himself standing at the entrance of the VirtuaReal building holding an already signed and sealed contract letter instead of the one for his final mission.
