On 19 July 2021, the upcoming Livers were teased on VirtuaReal's bilibili and Twitter accounts with an image of their silhouettes.

On 20 July 2021, VirtuaReal officially announced their fourteenth generation of Virtual Livers, including Yomiya, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Yomiya made his first dynamic post and published his first video, an interactive self-introduction, on the same day.

On 24 July 2021, VirtuaReal released a teaser trailer for the new VirtuaReal Livers.

The fourteenth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili split over two days lasting from 20:00 to 22:00 CST on 29 July and from 19:00 to 22:00 CST on 30 July 2021, Yomiya being the third.

Later on 9 August 2021, a video of their debut streams highlights presented by Ciyana was released on bilibili's official virtual streamer channel.

• "147" - Yomiya, Hakuja, Koxia, Rhea and Miyu. These five debuted together as VirtuaReal's fourteenth generation.
• "寄" ("GG") - Yomiya, Rhea and Hakuja. These three were a team for the VirtuaReal-organised Apex Summertime Entertainment Match.
• 「Hello新世界」(Hello New World Project) - a group proprosed by Yomiya, consisting of Yomiya, Uka, Tanoshiba, Tocci, Yog, and, Susam, all of which received a make-over model on 20 August, 2022. They have since collaborated several times, although due to his distance Yomiya could only participate remotely.
• Yomiya and Kiti - They both live in the United States and sometimes collab.

Yomiya's fans and fan medal tag are called "夜神宫" (Yokamiya).

• Likes: Raspberries, , experiencing all kinds of worlds sleeping, dubbing, singing songs, games, art of cuisine, murder mysteries, every language/dialect

• Yomiya is a big fan of the Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls franchise. He often talks about it or play the game on stream. His favorite characters are Hisagawa Nagi and Hisagawa Hayate.

• Yomiya's ability to enter the dream world is inherent. Often all kinds of interesting people visit the dream world, including Rhea, Hakuja and Tanoshiba. More than a year after leaving for the mortal world, he decided to return, inviting five of his friends along with him. However, things don't nearly go as planned.

• Yomiya currently lives in the United States.
• A day after his debut on 30 to 1 August, Yomiya had an unofficial Apex Legends collaboration (no archive) with Miyu, Hakuja and Rhea, despite them not being permitted to do so yet. This led to jokes about graduation and Yomiya's insistence that Miyu, Hakuja and Rhea were in fact "猫宫" (Meowmiya), "蛇宫" (Snakemiya) and "瑞宫" (Rhemiya).
• Yomiya can mix and compose music and has written many of his own songs.
• Yomiya has two female cats, 午月 (Wu yue) and 谷歌 (Google), both adopted from people who didn't want them anymore.
• Yomiya used to fence (Foil) as a hobby.
• On 27 August 2021, Yomiya streamed for the first time under "VirtuaMiyal", a so-called company established by himself.
• When Yomiya was in elementary school, he was particularly proficient in English, but was very bad at math.
• When Yomiya posts a dynamic post on bilibili, he often precede the sentence with a "#" and end with a period.

On the other side of the lake on the other side of the mountains, there is an enormous mansion; this place is far away from any sign of human life. By the lake near the mountains, the peaceful estate encircled by forest is indeed Yomiya’s home. Perhaps for him who is always in a languid state, expression using the setting of sleep can better reflect this place's importance; after all sleep is an important activity occupying an absolutely dominant position in his everyday planning. Most of the time, Yomiya will not step out of his own bedroom. It’s not that he doesn’t like connecting with people, just that in places where people gather it's very hard to find a suitable place to sleep at any time; it’s hard for him to accept. However, because of some rather special fate, he still has a couple of friends outside the internet.

In order to pass some tedious waking time, and simultaneously to fulfil his own desire to share his happiness with more people, when his occasional guest the good-natured gangster dog mentioned VirtuaReal to him, Yomiya immediately took interest and very quickly got his friends to join together.
