Ushio Ebi

Ebi is a happy bubbly shrimp who is physically incapable of frowning. She opens every stream with "henlo everybody" and is almost always upbeat and positive.

She will often times obsess over characters such as Lumen from Arknights or Lee from Punishing Gray Raven and often times go on tangents about the story or gameplay that she's passionate about such as her not liking the protagonist of Genshin Impact and Paimon.

Ebi appears in a ruffled pink dress swimsuit hybrid with a white jacket with turquoise accents. Her jacket has a name tag with her name, Ebi, in hiragana. She also dons a cyan fish choker and two yellow beads in her hair and a pink hairpin with her name written on it. She is often seen with a miniature snail version of herself who she has named Snebi.

She has long white hair with pink underdye and highlights, arranged into a two-side up twintail hairstyle, with each thin twintail evoking the antennae of a shrimp. Her eyes have turquoise irises.

Ebi was chosen through an audition to fill the soul of her model. She posted her first tweet on 19 November 2020. She debuted on the 27 of December on YouTube. On the debut stream, she not only introduced herself, but she also did a speedrun of Portal.

• Her fanbase does not have a specific name yet and generally refer to themselves as shrimps since Ebi is a literal shrimp.

• On 5 March 2021, for her 5,000 subscribers celebration, Ebi speedran the Portal video game. Her second run in the stream ended with a time of 31 minutes and 42 seconds. As of 12 April 2021, her Inbounds No SLA run is placed 327th on the speedrun.com leaderboards.
• On 9 April 2021, she was briefly featured in a Nyatasha Nyanners stream.
• Ebi shares her current character designer Kubota Masaki with Himura Honoka from Vpro, Aria Synth and Minazuki Mana from VOLs, Nerou Vivi from Fairy, Aoi Sakura from Re;BON, as well as the independent VTubers Osaki Cherry, Rei-chan and Kaneki Caw.

Ushio Ebi is a saltwater prawn (shrimp) who took up a human form to create music. Ebi is 17 in human years, but this is a best guess on Ebi's part. Ebi always appears in a dress and a jacket, but Ebi has explained that the dress is actually a swimsuit so that she can go swimming whenever she wants.
