Moemi is a cheerful 16-year-old gynoid who plays video games and uploads gameplay videos on YouTube.
She loves her viewers but she fall in love with one of them, her "Darling" (旦那様 / Danna-sama). She always starts off her videos by saying Hello Darling! It's your wife Moemi! (ハロー旦那様！貴方の嫁の萌実だよ！♡ Harou Danna-sama! Anata no yome no Moemi da yo!).
She enjoys playing video games and is sometimes emotional and over-reacts to situations. She often cries and becomes depressed by losing in difficult games (such as Dark Souls). When she beats games, she becomes excited and asks her "darling" to pat her hair.

Yomeno Moemi originated as a character in VTubing pioneer Eilene's Anime Girl Eilene series. According to her profile, she officially began activity on 3 March 2017.
Her original YouTube channel was created on 20 August 2017. Her earliest known appearance as a VTuber was on 21 August 2017, in a video on that channel, titled IS THIS A PANTY SHOT??? - Dragon Quest XI /part1. At the time, the YouTube channel it appeared on was known as "萌実チャンネル (Moemi Channel)".

* Before being confirmed, many viewers suspected that Moemi's voice actress was Yuriko.

2017
At some point, Moemi's YouTube channel became known as "萌実 & エイレーン - Moemi" (Moemi & Eilene - Moemi).
On 21 August, Moemi's Twitter account was created.
2018
On 7 January, Yomemi made her appearance on Yomeno Moemi's channel, in the video VIRTUAL GIRLFRIEND "YOMEMI" 【episode 1】. The channel was thereafter renamed to "萌実 & ヨメミ - Eilene" (Moemi & Yomemi - Eilene).
As of mid-2018, new Moemi releases have become very rare, and Yoriko's Twitter feed has often mentioned health issues. During that time the focus of the channel was given to Yomemi.
Around 12 August, the YouTube channel became known as "ヨメミ V-AR チューバー -萌実-" (Yomemi V-AR Tuber Moemi).
2019
On 7 June, Moemi retook the lead of the channel as her new 3D model was unveiled.
On 11 December, Moemi had her first livestream. She was accompanied by the new character Étra.
2020
Around 8 May the channel name changed to "ヨメミ -萌実- エトラ チャンネル" (Yomemi -Moemi- Etra Channel).
On 10 May, a new YouTube channel was created for Yomeno Moemi.
On 17 September, Moemi held a debut livestream on her new channel.
In 2020, Comdost confirmed that Eilene is no longer managing her creations due to an unannounced retirement, as well as her dealing against the Chinese businessman over the H.LIVE agency at the time. Since then Moemi worked as an independent.
2022
On 12 December, Moemi's main channel was hacked, becoming "Tesla LIVE", having all videos be unlisted and livestreamed about cryptocurrencies. After about 2 hours the account was renamed "ヨメミ -萌実 -エトラ -テスラ-" ("Yomemi -Moemi -Etra -Tesla-") changing the profile picture to a picture of Eilene with "Tesla LOL" written over her face and posted a new video of Eilene banging her head against her desk for 10 minutes. The account was later terminated for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines.
2024
On 9 February, Moemi's original channel became known as "エイレーンチャンネル【旧ヨメミ -萌実 -エトラ】" (Eilene Channel [Formerly Yomemi -Moemi- Etra]). Going forward, that channel was Eilene's channel.
On 26 March, Moemi joined Aogiri High School. According to her profile, this took place on 1 April.
