Cecilia Laudavere

Cecilia is devout, theatrical, and excessively enthusiastic about the Emperor. She is kind to allies of humanity, and utterly merciless to others, and prone to dramatic speeches over relatively minor events. Despite her strong faith, she can be distractible and occasionally reckless, especially when curiosity, music, or lore books are involved.

Cecilia is of average height, and slight build. She normally dresses in her heavily modifier librarian's outfit accented pink on the frugal black, she bears a lily tatto on her left cheek, and her hair is dyed entirely whit, wearing a pink flower hair ornament with pink stripes and metallic feather pieces. On her left shoulder are the initial musical notes for "Breaker of Chains", and her outfit features heavily skulls, and lilies.

Cecilia Laudavere was born to a minor noble family on a quiet agri-world that, regrettably, did not stay quiet. When the planet fell to a particularly unpleasant outbreak of heresy, witches, and poor life choices, she was rescued by the Adepta Sororitas while most of the people she had grown up with chose the less commendable path of betraying the Emperor.

Raised thereafter among the Sisters, Cecilia proved unusually gifted in the scholastic disciplines expected of a librarian, absorbing theology, history, and even several xenos languages with alarming enthusiasm. Unfortunately, the Omnissiah did not bless her with the same aptitude for machinery, and her tech-classes ended in what the instructors generously described as “creative misunderstandings.”

She later served the Holy Inquisition as an acolyte. After a series of entirely coincidental incidents that were definitely not her fault, she was reassigned to convent library duties, where she now spends her time cataloguing forbidden texts, singing hymns, and broadcasting sermons and music to the faithful across the Imperium.

She rarely leaves the library. This is considered safer for everyone involved.
