Peanuts-kun is a 5-year-old yellow talking peanut whose goal is, as it is stated in both the title of his webseries, YouTube Channel, and Twitter handle, to become popular and trendy. He and his sidekick Chancho (チャンチョ) live the most hilarious and bizarre adventures in his world of Peanutians.
Appearance
Peanuts-kun has a large yellow peanut-shaped head, with large eyes that have black irises. He has a smaller yellow body often depicted barechested, except for a red scarf and a pair of white underwear, or alternatively a pair of blue-and-white overalls.

In the second collaboration, AI threw little versions of Peanuts-kun and Chancho (as the ceremonial beans for the cleansing rite) for the Setsubun special video. * He and Baacharu always do the opening skit for the VTuber anime Virtual-san wa Miteiru. * Chancho has his own channel, in which he livestreams videogames. * He and Ponpoko organised 2 VTuber Fall Guys Tournaments called "VTuber Fall Guys Party & VTuber Fall Guys Sports Festival". ** They both own mascot costumes of themselves for use in real-life. * He is one of the many early VTubers featured in the game .

Peanuts-kun started as the main character of an ongoing independent absurdist web animation series called Oshare ni Naritai! Peanuts-kun (オシャレになりたい！ピーナッツくん, I want to be Trendy! Peanuts-kun), but he also began doing activities related to VTubers, including videogame streams and collaborations. He even has a 3D model in order to interact with other VTubers on events.
2017
On 4 July, Peanuts-kun uploaded his debut video to YouTube, which also serves as the first episode of his webseries. He is accompanied by two other characters, Chancho and Frappechiko-chan.
On 5 December, he did his first stream on YouTube. The stream has since been age-restricted, possibly due to the thumbnail featuring Peanuts-kun mooning the audience.
2018
On 27 March, he did a stream where he presented an introduction to Virtual YouTubers, in a collaboration featuring Ponpoko.
2019
On 2 July, Peanuts-kun celebrated his 2019 birthday which also doubled as his 2nd anniversary stream.
2020
On 2 July, Peanuts-kun celebrated his 2020 birthday and 3rd anniversary with a stream where he also promoted his new album "False Memory Syndrome".
On 19 November, Peanuts-kun and Ponpoko revealed in a video that they are siblings, and that Peanuts-kun is one and the same as her older brother "Anipoko" (兄ぽこ). They also have an older brother called "Anianipoko" (あにあにぽこ) who is the eldest of the siblings.

On 4 July, Peanuts-kun did his 2021 birthday celebration stream on the day of his 4th anniversary.

On 1 July, Peanuts-kun did his 2022 birthday celebration stream, 3 days before his 5th anniversary.
