Megu is effectively the concept of "genki" (cheerful, lively, friendly) given a human (virtual YouTuber) form.
Appearance
Megu has long blonde hair adorned with a round flower hairpin, distinctive thick but short eyebrows, and eyes with turquoise irises. She wears a black sailor uniform top and white collar with pink on the tied parts similar to a bunny ear.

2018
On 1 March, Megu debuted on YouTube. The following day on 2 March, she also made her debut on SHOWROOM.
2021
On 16 March, Megu celebrated her graduation from high school with a stream.
On 19 June, her agency Gugenka announced the closure of its virtual talent business, and the cancellation of its "Gugenka Universe" brand to which Megu and her colleagues Epito, Suzuyama Yahiro, and Amano Nemo belonged. All four VTubers will become independent on 21 September.
On 21 September, she did a commemorative stream to mark the start of her life as an independent VTuber.
2022
On 1 March, she celebrated her 4th anniversary.
2023
On 1 March, she celebrated her 5th anniversary.
On 21 September, she celebrated the second anniversary of her becoming an independent VTuber.
2025
On 8 November, Megu announced that she will be ending her VTuber activities the following year on 21 September 2026. The reason was due to her finding out that she has misunderstood certain terms of her existing contract with Gugenka, her previous agency which had granted to her the IP regarding her character. Due to these difficulties regarding parts of her contract, she has decided to retire once her contract expires.
On 25 December, she debuted a new outfit.
2026
On 1 March, Megu celebrated her 8th anniversary.
Retirement
On 16 May, she announced that she will be holding her graduation stream on 31 May 2026, four months ahead of her September 2026 contract expiration.
From 30 to 31 May, she did a 24-hour graduation event (split into 3 streams roughly 8 hours each) and retired after 8 years of VTubing.
