On 13 December, Ichikara Inc. announced that NIJISANJI Gamers and NIJISANJI SEEDs would merge with NIJISANJI by the end of the month. As a result, Mikoto is now officially affiliated with NIJISANJI.

On 30 September, Mikoto unveiled her official 3D model via YouTube livestream.
