Contrary to her girlish appearance, Canna has distinctively deep voice comparable to Ryugasaki Rene of Sugar Lyric and Ange Katrina of NIJISANJI.

She has vibrant red hair with purple streaks and a couple of ahoges with light green eyes.

* Akane means "deep red, dye from the rubia plant" (茜) (aka) and "sound" (音) (ne).
* Canna is written in katakana (カンナ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (栞菜 or 環那), it could possibly mean:
* 栞菜 - "bookmark" (栞) (can) and "vegetables, greens" (菜) (na).
* 環那 - "ring, link" (環) (can) and "what?" (那) (na).
