Anya is a very introverted, sleepy, and calm person, in complete opposite to her genmate Kureiji Ollie, except she mumbles when she gets nervous. She is not very talkative, to the point she barely mentions her personal experiences. However, this doesn't stop her from being smug and sadistic. Her skills in Japanese gives her easy opportunities to interact with Japanese hololive members and Japanese HOLOSTARS.
Her main quality she puts in relief is her righteousness, as she always reject any attempt to corrupt her. For these reasons, some hololive members devote her a special respect. For example, during an Among Us game, Ollie once cut short an argument between her and Takane Lui by convincing everyone Anya was not lying because she was speaking in Japanese.
Even so, Anya is funny and easygoing, and also the type of person who is easy to joke around at certain times. Sometimes, her sense of humor is a bit demeaning to others such as when she called Ollie a cutting board and made her height a comparison between her senpais as in Gura, Shion, and Rushia. Unlike most of hololive ID members, Anya's humour rarely tends to get borderline, but aims at being subtile.
Anya is also often categorized as a yandere girl by some of her fans because of her sadistic comments and thoughts on events in the Mad Father game stream. Her fans often say that during horror game streams, the scariest part of the stream is Anya herself. She is also notably hard to scare. In fact, when playing horror games, Anya typically scoffs off the scares as if they're sunshine and rainbows. On this plane, she shares tastes with Kaela Kovalskia in video games, as long as they require being patient or facing horror, which leads them collaborating often.
