As holoX's point of contact and the one in charge of external affairs, she is the de facto leader of the group, handling matters that the founder cannot.

While she may seem aloof and standoffish at first glance, she is a compassionate person who cares a lot for her subordinates.

Unfortunately, she is also rather prone to screwing up in crucial moments.

On 5 December, Lui reached 300,000 subscribers on YouTube.

On 14 December, Lui opened her channel membership feature.

On 28 December, hololive's Twitter account announced that Nene and the sixth gen members would get "new year" costumes.

On 1 January, Lui debuted her second 2D costume, a furisode to celebrate the new year. In this costume, Lui got a new hairstyle, a side curly ponytail to the right. Above her ponytail, Lui can wear a small black hat decorated with feathers in the same color. The hat also has a golden hawk decoration to the right and some flowers. She wears a single earring on her left ear. Her furisode is striped blue and black. The blouse is blue to the right and black to the left, with the left side folded over the right side and the black side dominant on her top. The skirt is also folded in the same direction. However as the colors are inverted, blue is the dominant color in her skirt. The edges of the furisode are wavy, black for the sleeves, white for the middle open section, and black and white at the end of the it. The inner part of the furisode has a pattern of feathers. The furisode has a brown corset decorated with a long red ribbon. Her shoes are white and brown. Lui can also wear a white, fluffy piece of cloth.

On 11 January, Lui reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a stream of "Pokémon Shining Pearl."

On 1 April, Lui uploaded a teaser video introducing the Dating Simulation Game named "Horo ni koisuru" (「ホロに恋する」, lit. Fall in love with Holo) that she produced herself. The video has the appearance of: Sakura Miko, Aki Rosenthal, Oozora Subaru, Nekomata Okayu, Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame, Yukihana Lamy, Hakui Koyori, Kureiji Ollie, and Ouro Kronii.

On 26 April, Lui reached 500,000 YouTube subscribers during an endurance karaoke stream. This makes her the 52nd hololive member to reach this milestone, and the last of her generation to do so.

On 11 June, during her birthday stream, Lui announced her first original song.

On 14 June, Lui announced that she would get her 3D model.

On 21 June, she debuted her 3D model.

On 28 July, she released the full music video of her original song "Overd."

On 10 August, as part of the "hololive Summer 2022" event, Lui debuted her 3D swimsuit. Unlike the original swimsuits from 2019 that had individual designs, these swimsuits are meant to be matching outfits similar to the 3D idol costumes. The swimsuits come in two types one with thin straps for the top and a diagonal cut mini skirt and the other one has ruffled straps in the top and an even mini skirt. Both version are white with various patterns including hololive's and Holoearth's logos, hearts and sparks. The swimsuits are personalized by including different colors to match each talent. Additionally they have the option to wear a hoodie.

On 22 August, continuing the "hololive Summer 2022" event, Lui debuted her 3D yukata. Like other 3D costumes the yukatas have a variety of styles that hololive members can choose from. The yukatas come in various colors and patterns including fireworks, flowers and goldfish.

On 1 September, Lui reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 19 October, Lui debuted a new hairstyle for her new year costume using long loose hair.

On 16 November, during a stream on Koyori's channel, holoX announced that they would get their 3D idol costumes.

On 27 November, Lui celebrated her first year anniversary. During the stream, she debuted her 3D idol costume and released the second original song "TSUBASA."

On 4 December, during holoX first year anniversary, they released their first original song "Jouya Repaint."

On 21 December, during a holoX meeting stream, Lui, Hakui Koyori, Sakamata Chloe and Kazama Iroha debuted their 3D christmas costumes.

On 20 February, Lui's original song "Overd" has reached 300,000 YouTube views.

On 18 March, Lui debuted her second 3D idol costume during hololive 4th fes. "Our Bright Parade" DAY 1.

On 20 March, she reached 700,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a karaoke endurance stream.

On 11 June, during her birthday, Lui released her third and fourth original songs, "Baka Bakka" and "FIRST CRY."

On 21 June, Lui released the music video for her original song "TSUBASA."

On 13 July, she debuted a new 3D costume as a member of the "Blue Journey" musical project. She uses a blue beret with a plaid pattern. The costume has a white blouse with detached sleeves, a blue ribbon in the chest decorated with light blue jewel and a blue belt below the chest. The blouse lower edge is asymmetrical and divided in three, the front has planks and it is the longest, then the right side is longer that the left side. She uses a long blue skirt with a plaid pattern and the inner section is light blue. On the back the costume is decorated with a see through ribbon.

On 27 July, Lui's main costume got updated to the 3.0 version. Lui has movement updates. Lui can have heart and sparky shaped pupils, turn her eyes to white and make them teary. She can also shadow her face to make her look sinister. Lui can stick out her tongue.

On 30 July, as part of the "hololive Summer 2023" event, during a karaoke relay, Lui debuted her second 3D swimsuit. The 2023 swimsuits are inspired in a sailor uniform. Members wear a two layered swimsuit, the first layer is blue from the straps going down diagonally to the center where each member has a mostly blue bow but one of the sides and the brooch are in one color representative of each member. The rest of the top is white. The edge has a semi circular cut. The lower piece of the first layer has two variants, one is a two layered blue skirt decorated with a white belt, a golden chain with some decorations hanging from it and a bow to the left and planks to the right. The second version is mostly the same but they wear blue shorts instead of a mini skirt. Lui uses the shorts. The second layer of the outfit is a matching striped bikini in white and another color depending on the member.

On 10 September, Lui announced that she would get her third 2D costume.

On 16 September, Lui debuted her third 2D costume. Her hair has small braided twintails falling to the sides. She got another hairstyle using a bob haircut. She wears a black blouse with a see through neckline decorated with a bow. Her sleeves are also partially see through with stylized birds in white as complements. She has a long wine colored skirt with an orange opening with a white polka dot pattern to the left side. Lui uses black shoes with a triangular buckle. Lui can also wear a coat in the same color as her skirt with golden decorative elements and a brooch, the coats cap can be put on. Lui also has a black beret decorated with a white pompon and a small rose.

On 25 September, Lui reached 800,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance stream.

On 20 November, holoX debuted their new accessories including headphones and super sentai helmets.

On 27 November, Lui released her fifth original song "HoloHawk" during her second anniversary stream.

On 30 April, Lui reached 900,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream.

On 11 May, Lui debuted her fourth 2D costume. She describes it as a British Gothic Costume. Lui has a bob hairstyle and its alter version has a braid on the left side. She can also use the bob haircut from her third costume. She wears a layered black coat with a tie complemented with a blue jewel, the coat has various elements in gray. The black coat can be taken off, revealing a gray blouse. Lui uses black shorts. She uses long, black boots with blue strings. Lui can also use a small, black hat to the side and glasses.

On 31 May, Lui released her sixth original song "Evil Eye Wink."

On 11 June, during her birthday, Lui released her first album "Liberty" and the music video for her original song "Evil Eye Wink."

On 12 July, Lui debuted a dark blue version for her fourth 2D costume. In this version, she has a new outer coat, and can put Tsukune and Tsumire on her head. During the stream, Lui released the music video for her original song "Secret Oshigoto," one of the songs from her album Liberty.

On 16 November, Lui reached 1,000,000 YouTube subscribers. This makes her the 46th hololive member, and the 4th holoX member to reach this milestone.

On 3 March, Lui released her first EP "Lieblings."

On 8 March, she debuted her hololive 6th fes. Color Rise Harmony 3D idol costume during the event's day 1 STAGE 2. The costume has some variants, it can be black or white, complemented with a color representative of the talent. The midriff can be covered or not. One has variant has a skirt while the other uses pants, with one leg exposed. Aside for the design featured in promotional material, the costume also includes a short jacket.

On 10 May, Lui debuted her fifth 2D costume. Lui has long bangs that partially cover her face and a braided ponytail that fall to the front. Lui wears a shoulderless, sleeveless, Japanese dress that has two color variants, black and red and dark blue and light blue both with golden assets. The skirt has a diagonal cut exposing her left leg revealing two black leg belts. Lui uses boots, red for the black version and dark blue for the other. She can complement her outfit black and golden shawl.

On 24 September, Lui announced her second album "Lapis Lazuli" and released her new original song "DARE!?"

On 31 October, her fourth 2D costume got new accessories, the helmet and cloak of the character Zero from the anime Code Geass.

On 1 December, during -holoX-'s 4th anniversary, they announced their first album "Secret ORDER" and their first concert "First MISSION" at, Japan, on 29 April 2026. They also released their sixth original song "Gyouan Xdeath."
