Her Twitter account was created in October 2018.
On 22 October, her debut stream was held on REALITY, as part of a debut relay with other members of Urara Jogakuin Housoubu.
On 24 December, she released her first cover in collaboration with fellow member Hoshino Meguri. On 30 December a video was released on Twitter.
2019
On 28 January, her group's self-introductions were posted on their group channel (うら学放送部ーUraGaku Channelー).
On 2 February, she posted her first YouTube video.
On 2 March, she posted her first solo cover video.
On 2 May, she became the first Urara Jogakuin Housoubu member to create a solo channel on YouTube. She uploaded her first video the next day and her first cover video the day after.

On 13 April, Ruri was confirmed to have won the REALITY "BotchiBoromaru Gakkyoku Teikyou Event" contest run during the prior month, and with it the rights to an original song produced by the group. On 8 August, she released the MV for her first original song "Hinoko."
On 20 June, she revealed her second original 3D model.
On 22 October, for her 2nd anniversary, Ruri held her first one-man live on REALITY's Cluster VR platform, and streamed it on YouTube, both for free.
On 27 November, Ruri was appointed as the third ambassador for HTC VIVE.

On 4 November, Ruri debuted a 3D chibi model.
2022
On 17 March, Ruri debuted new accessories for her 3D chibi model.
On 20 October, she reached 10,000 subscribers on YouTube channel during a karaoke stream.
