Enna is a blunt and honest girl who doesn't mince words and rarely hesitates to speak her mind, no matter the subject. She also has a mischievous streak and enjoys intentionally annoying people with pranks, teasing, and incessant insults, giving her a reputation as the resident "gremlin" of Ethyria (although she usually shares this position with her best friend, Millie Parfait). She has a short temper and is notable for her very frequent swearing, especially when provoked - upon which she has a tendency to practically explode into rage and a continuous string of expletives.

As much as she frequently roasts her peers and chat without remorse, Enna is also somewhat pessimistic and frequently delves into varying degrees of self-deprecation, and is known to casually joke about unfortunate happenings in her life. However, her honesty goes both ways, as she often dispenses wisdom and encouragement straight from the heart and frequently expresses her gratitude towards her fans, fellow Livers, and other figures in her life.

She frequently claims to have a 32 / 10 personality. While the significance of the specific number 32 / 10 remains unknown, others (namely her chat and fellow Nijisanji Virtual Youtuber Kyo Kaneko) have agreed she has, at least, an over 10 / 10 personality.

Background

On 18 June 2021, NIJISANJI EN opened two sets of auditions, one of which was for an all-female wave of four. Silhouettes of the new Livers' designs were shown, one of which was designated "Bird of Heaven." The all-female auditions lasted until 11 July. YouTube channels for NIJISANJI EN's third wave were created on 14 September 2021, and their Twitter accounts were also created in September 2021.

On 5 October 2021, NIJISANJI EN announced the upcoming debut of its third group, "Ethyria," revealing a teaser featuring the new Livers' full designs and voices.

Debut

Ethyria made their debuts on 9 October 2021 (JST) as part of a special debut program hosted on the NIJISANJI EN channel, with commentary provided by OBSYDIA. Enna was the third of the group to debut. Her debut stream featured a trailer for her upcoming original song, followed by her rendition of "Cry Baby" by Official Hige Dandism. Her informational slides were presented in the form of a storybook.

Afterwards, all four members of Ethyria joined the main channel's special program to receive Obsydia's congratulations. Ethyria's first original song, "God sees all," premiered shortly after the program. This song was written and produced by ChibiNyan.

Mascot and fans

Enna's fans are called Aloupeeps, a portmanteau of Alouette and peeps, the latter being an onomatopoeia for baby bird sounds and slang for people.
Enna's YouTube membership is called "Aloupeeps ♡".
Enna has a mascot representing her fans, Aloupeeps, which she designed herself and later sculpted with clay.
Enna's Chinese fans on bilibili are called "天使鸟" (Tiānshǐ niǎo, literally Angel Birds), a name she created due to the difficulty of translating Aloupeeps to Chinese.
Enna’s fans also called themselves “鸟门” (Niǎo mén) in China. This designation means because of the fan's love for Enna Alouette, Enna is referred to as a sect, religion or god. And the fans themselves are disciples or followers of it.

Lore

Although she is a bird angel from heaven, she claims that she originally comes from hell.
According to her introductory video and lore slide (which she quickly clicked through), she was formerly a human who became jaded and cruel due to suffering many hardships. After dying in an accident, she lost her human memories and was sent to hell to atone for sins; however, she instead became increasingly mischievous and sadistic as she thrived in hell. She was reassigned to heaven to atone through community service instead, although she at first protested, then sought to corrupt heaven. While in heaven, she has taken the form of an angel-like bird, and is tasked with healing human hearts through singing, in the hopes of one day healing her own heart.
She met Millie Parfait in the underworld during her stay there, and taught her much of her knowledge about the human world. She was also responsible for getting Millie addicted to sweets and thus her stranding in the overworld.
One of her wings is a mechanical prosthetic. allegedly from when the original was damaged in an accident.
At her debut, one of her slides featured a Wanted poster with her portrait. The following slide featured multiple photos of Elira, blood spots, and the phrases "LOVE AT FIRST LIGHT" and "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" written repeatedly in blood, suggesting that Enna has developed yandere-aligned feelings for Elira. However, this has seldom been elaborated on since.
Her second outfit is a reward from heaven after a successful performance review. Enna also claims that her staff allows her to travel between parallel timelines.

Ironically, despite being a bird angel herself, she hates birds and has had unpleasant experiences with them. However, she states that she only hates the actual real birds but not bird-related things or people, such as Petra Gurin.
When Enna was child, she was harassed by a large flock of pigeons she attempted to feed with a bagel. She believes this to be the origin of her dislike for birds.
A crow once followed Enna around when she was in Japan with a friend. She believed it could sense her fear and was "messing" with her. Despite this, she only considers her aversion towards birds a "milder version" of a phobia.
Her lore stated that her fear of birds as a human was the reason she got reincarnated as a bird angel, as a form of karmic retribution.

She, Millie, and Elira have been friends since long before they joined NIJISANJI EN.
Although she usually speaks with a relaxed, almost nasal voice, Enna is notable for her exceptional vocal range and profound control of her voice, to the point where she can instantly and seamlessly switch between multiple drastically different voices that can be mistaken for those of entirely different people. This is most demonstrated during her singing and karaoke streams, but she can freely change her speaking voice to suit her situation.
She had a roommate (anonymously referred to as "Roomie-chan") who has occasionally made silent guest appearances on her streams. She announced on 2022, December 30, that Roomie-chan has officially moved out with her boyfriend.
She has stated that she has asthma and an asthma inhaler as well as having motion sickness.
She has difficulty remembering lyrics, often making her substitute lyrics if she doesn't have them available.

Enna is not looking for any romantic relationships, appending the word "platonically" whenever saying "I love you" to her chat. However, she claims that she has enough charisma to find a partner if she wanted, as demonstrated when a guy who visited to repair her dryer was so smitten with her energy and ability to prepare perfect sencha tea that he proposed writing letters to her landlord and the Canadian government on her behalf to lower her rent in order to persuade her into staying in the country so they could hang out as "more than friends". She wears lace-up boots, over-the-knee socks with garter straps, puffy sleeves with ruffles, a large bow with a purple spade crystal, and a light-blue waist cord in place of her shoulder bag. She also sports a short hairstyle with a braid and a laurel crown, and her diamond brooch is changed to a blue spade choker. Symbolizing her increased heavenly power, all of her wings have grown considerably larger, and she has a halo behind her head that can be toggled with her wings. She also has a translucent outer skirt and a blue-and-white bridal veil that can be toggled together. As part of Ethyria's queenly theme, Enna also wields an intricate silver staff with a sharp purple crystal, which she assures can be used as a spear if chat gets out of hand. During this stream, she also reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. Later, new goods went up for sale to celebrate Ethyria's new outfits.

2023

On 15 January, Enna's "EN Scolding" voice pack went up for sale. She was featured in the key visuals for this series.

On 7 February, Enna's "Valentine's Day 2023" goods and voice pack went up for sale. In addition to typical goods such as acrylic stands, snapshot cards, and badges, merchandise included personalized jewelry for each of the four featured Livers, with Enna's accessory being a necklace with a winged design.

On 18 August, Enna released a new song titled Mushroom, which was created to spread awareness about mental health issues and included links to multiple international charities.

On 3 November, during Reimu Endou birthday stream, the unofficial group called NijiUK created by Petra Gurin, Reimu Endou, Enna Alouette and Millie Parfait in Fall 2021 announced that after a proposal of the members to management and the approval, that the group would become an official unit in NIJISANJI EN and would be renamed as Zuttoღo (meaning forever friends in english). This marks the first time an official unit happens in NIJISANJI EN, similar to how the same has been happening for years with units in NIJISANJI. As a unit, all members still will continue in their original waves Obsydia and Ethyria, but now officially also be in this official group. Alongside this announcement, they also announced that all members would get a third outfit themed with each other, with each member having a season as a theme.

2024

On 7 April, Nijisanji anounced Ethyria would be showcasing their 3D models Enna would be showcasing hers on 27 April.

On 27 April, Enna showcased her 3D model. The 3D debut included skits with other NIJISANJI EN members, and a mini concert.

On 14 November, Enna and Elira Pendora released their original song, "SOLAR DAWN", as part of the NIJISANJI EN project: ENcounter.

2025

On 27 September, Enna revealed her fourth outfit. Her theme is a Gothic Lolita Maid outfit.

On 22 November 2021, all members of LazuLight, OBSYDIA, and Ethyria participated in the "Ready! Get Set! Clash!" Mario Kart game show on the official NIJISANJI EN channel, with Enna taking 9th place overall.
On 15 May 2022, Enna participated in NIJI Melody Time, a NIJISANJI singing relay collaboration.
On 12 July 2022, Otakuthon announced that Enna, Elira Pendora, Rosemi Lovelock, Nina Kosaka, and Millie Parfait would be attending their 2022 convention (running from 5–7 August) as in-person guests holding talk panels, autograph sessions, and a live concert.
