On 1 May 2021, the upcoming Livers were teased on the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts with an image of their silhouettes.

On 2 May 2021, VirtuaReal officially announced their thirteenth generation of Virtual Livers, including Kiti, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Kiti made her first dynamic post and released her first video on the same day.

On 9 May 2021, the thirteenth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili from 19:00 to 23:00 CST, Kiti being the third.

Later on 23 May 2021, a video featuring highlights of their debut streams, presented by iiivan from Xue Feng Jun Tuan, was released on bilibili's official virtual streamer channel.

• Kiti's fans and fan medal tag are called "Dà zhé" (大喆), translated as Great Wisdom. 喆 is Kiti's name combined into one word.
• Kiti's derivative works bilibili channel launched a project called "Project ManeKiti #0", creating a Live2D model for use by all of Kiti's fans.
• The illustration is done by NieNie and the rigging by 九酸不酸.
• The idea came from a joke that Kiti made about how it would be great if Dazhe could also make their debut.
• The purpose of the model is for any of Kiti's fans to use, whether for videos, livestreaming or just to play around with.

• "137" - Kiti, Tocci, Joi and Qilou. The four of them debuted together as VirtuaReal's thirteenth generation.
• "JJC" - Kiti, Mayumi and Chiharu. These three were a team for the VirtuaReal-organised Apex Legends Summertime Entertainment Match.

Kiti is a maneki-neko; it’s not difficult to see from the treasure bowl in her hand and the gold coin on her waist. Apart from fortune, Kiti’s luck in romance and luck in drawing cards is exceedingly strong; as for… other aspects of luck, she's waiting for everyone to develop them.

However the strange thing is, although Kiti is a maneki-neko, yet Kiti's fortune is all caught by other people, so Kiti is unable to use it herself. Even all the gold ingots in her hand’s treasure bowl can't be turned into cat food. So Kiti can only fill her stomach through working non-stop.

Finally one day, a beautiful young woman with black double ponytails appeared in front of Kiti. She said to Kiti, "I can give you a job."

Kiti's downcast eyes suddenly lit up; she already hadn't earned love and respect from people in a long time. She asked bluntly, "Then what do you need, fortune?"

And so the stray maneki-neko got a new cat house and job.
