Maggie was born a human in a small village surrounded by snowy mountains. She was a humble shepherdess who didn't mingle much with the other villagers. A prophecy foretold that the village would be met with a great calamity, and that a sacrifice must be made to temper the spirits. Maggie and her flock were chosen to be this sacrifice. On the night she sat bleeding in the snow, a demon with sheep horns saved her life. When she awoke, her village was buried in soil and snow. Now turned demon, Maggie came to detest the humans for their arrogance and foolishness, and secluded herself from human society for centuries. One day, looking upon the vast cities that are forever changing, she couldn't help but wonder if the humans have also changed. So she descended from her snowy mountain to connect with humans again.
