On 26 August, Matsuri reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 1 November, she debuted her second 2D costume.

On 1 April, she announced that she would receive her 3D model in the middle of April.

On 3 April commemorating this, she built a model of her in 3D in Minecraft. She later announced the debut date to be on 15 April. She debuted her 3D model during a stream on this date.

On 6 August, Matsuri showcased her 3D model swimsuit.

On 27 August, she reached 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 1 January, she announced in Twitter that she would get her third 2D costume to celebrate the new year, this costume was later revealed the same day.

On 23 January, her YouTube channel was demonetized. A few minutes later, she said on her Twitter account that it was due to one of the songs she sung, claiming it was a mistake on Youtube's side, so she would reapply for monetization the next month.

On 24 January along with the other hololive girls up to the third generation, she debuted her 3D idol outfit at hololive's 1st fes. Nonstop Story.

On 28 January, she reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 30 January, she announced on her Twitter account the remonetization of her channel.

On 1 March, she teased on Twitter a new 2D model for her next stream. On 2 March, she revealed this 2D model, unlike her normal model, in this one Matsuri is a 6 year old girl and acts for the most part like one.

On 25 April, she reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 20 June, Matsuri released her first original song "Kimi to Nagameru Natsu no Hana."

On 23 June, she reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 28 July, she announced on her Twitter account that her original 2D model would be get an update. She debuted her updated model during a stream later the same day, featuring more facial expressions, her hair including her ponytail and ahoge has improved movement and the previously still ribbon on her blouse now has movement, along with general movement improvements in line with the model capabilities of hololive members from the GAMERS unit onwards.

On 14 August, Matsuri reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a karaoke stream, making her the seventh member in hololive and the second member of the first generation to reach this milestone.

On 14 December, she reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 25 October, hololive's official Twitter account announced that she and Haato would get new 2D costumes. Matsuri debuted her fourth 2D costume on 28 October, a new set of casual clothes with a white jacket, she can use rabbit ears, cat ears, a black hat as well as glasses, she can now carry a sad sailor bunny plushie, additionally she got two new hairstyles both twintails.

On 14 December, she reached 700,000 subscribers, the third member of hololive's 1st generation and 15th member of hololive to do so.

On 25 January, she reached 800,000 YouTube subscribers.

On 28 March, she reached 900,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 1 June, during her the third anniversary since her debut Matsuri reached 1,000,000 YouTube subscribers during a singing endurance stream. This makes her the 17th hololive member to reach that milestone, and the 12th member of the Japanese branch to do so. She is also the third member of Gen 1 to achieve it.

On 7 July, Matsuri's Twitter account was verified.

On 23 July, her birthday, Matsuri released her second original song "Hi Hi High Tension!."

On 22 September, hololive's Twitter account announced that Matsuri would get her fifth 2D costume.

On 25 September, Matsuri debuted her fifth 2D costume, with this costume Matsuri got two new hairstyle, both using loose hair, but one shows her forehead, she also got two pairs of animal ears, in this costume she wears a big black jacket with decorations in white and red including a belt, there is a small squirrel on the right side of her jacket, the jacket rests below the shoulders, the jacket can be removed, Matsuri also wears a long-sleeved orange shirt and black shorts, her socks and shoes are reminecent of her original outfit as they share the same color scheme. This outfit is really notorious as it includes hand movement and a gaming controller, being the first model in hololive to include such functionality by default.

On 31 October, Matsuri debuted a variant of her fourth 2D costume, that in lore temporarily turned her into a zombie, in this variant she has messier hair, baggy eyes, where here shocker used to by now she has stiches with darker skin, the logo on her jacket is now a skull and is dirty and ripped the same with her skirt, her right leg is bandaged, around the calf and her left leg around the thigh.

On 13 November, Matsuri announced that she's suffering from a cold, as evidenced by her poor throat condition, and would be taking a hiatus from streaming.

On 4 June, as part of her fourth anniversary, Matsuri debuted a new hairstyle for her fifth 2D costume. In this hairstyle Matsuri has her front bangs cut and uses long twintails. Additionally she also got a new accessory, a bandaid above her nose.

On 7 July, hololive's Japanese Twitter account announced that the members of the first generation would get their models updated to the 3.0 version.

On 9 July, the members of the first generation debuted their 3.0 models. The update includes various new facial expressions including the ability to have teary eyes or stick out the tongue. They also received new visual cues to emphasize other emotions. They can also wave their hand, hold a videogame controller and use a keyboard and mouse without external assets.

On 23 July, during her birthday live, Matsuri debuted a new 3D costume. In this costume Matsuri uses loose hair with twintails at the sides, the edge of her hair have a pink gradient similar to Roboco-san, she wears headphones decorated with cat ears. In this costume she wears a white top with a black see through section that connects it with the white neck, the top is decorated with a pink bow. She wears a white asymmetrical mini skirt with a pink edge. Matsuri uses long black boots.

On 16 August, as part of the "hololive Summer 2022" event, Matsuri debuted her second 3D swimsuit. Unlike the original swimsuits from 2019 that had individual designs, these swimsuits are meant to be matching outfits similar to the 3D idol costumes. The swimsuits come in two types one with thin straps for the top and a diagonal cut mini skirt and the other one has ruffled straps in the top and an even mini skirt. Both version are white with various patterns including hololive's and Holoearth's logos, hearts and sparks. The swimsuits are personalized by including different colors to match each talent. Additionally they have the option to wear a hoodie.

On 25 August, continuing the "hololive Summer 2022" event, Matsuri debuted her 3D yukata. Like other 3D costumes the yukatas have a variety of styles that hololive members can choose from. The yukatas come in various colors and patterns including fireworks, flowers and goldfish.

On 26 January, Matsuri debuted a new accessory for her fifth 2D costume. A pink monster themed hoodie with hearts on each arm.

On 19 March, Matsuri debuted her new 3D idol costume during hololive 4th fes. "Our Bright Parade" DAY2.

On 6 July, hololive's Twitter account announced that Matsuri would get her sixth 2D costume.

On 11 July, Matsuri debuted her sixth 2D costume. Matsuri has a middle part hairstyle with wavy locks. Matsuri wears a white T-shirt with the word "Kaoga E" printed in black. She uses a dark brown, plaid pattern, plank skirt. Matsuri has black socks and shoes. She can also wear a long blazer with the same characteristics as her skirt. The blazer has brown bear's head shaped buttons, in one of the pockets she carries a small teddy bear. She can also wear a bear shaped hat, hold a cup of tiramisu to reveal variously-patterned nails themed after tiramisu and wear glasses. Her illustrator Minamura Haruki described this outfit as "Korean style set-up coordinate with bear motif."

On 30 July, as part of the "hololive Summer 2023" event, during a karaoke relay, Matsuri debuted her third 3D swimsuit. The 2023 swimsuits are inspired in a sailor uniform. Members wear a two layered swimsuit, the first layer is blue from the straps going down diagonally to the center where each member has a mostly blue bow but one of the sides and the brooch are in one color representative of each member. The rest of the top is white. The edge has a semi circular cut. The lower piece of the first layer has two variants, one is a two layered blue skirt decorated with a white belt, a golden chain with some decorations hanging from it and a bow to the left and planks to the right. The second version is mostly the same but they wear blue shorts instead of a mini skirt. Matsuri uses the shorts. The second layer of the outfit is a matching striped bikini in white and another color depending on the member.

On 14 September, Matsuri debuted a new hairstyle for her sixth 2D costume. She has short hair with the side locks being wavy inward. Her bangs are sighly cut on the tips and styled to the left. Compared to the sides her hair on the backside is longer reaching her shoulders. Matsuri retains her classic ahoge that was originally missing in this costume's hairstyle.

On 13 November, as part of the "Hoshimatic Project," she debuted new 3D lesson wear. She uses a white short shirt with black wide lines at the shoulders and lower edge with her name in it and a black top underneat, the shirt is decorated with a small triangle representing the hololive brand and its color is different among the members. The outfit has variants, some members wear black pants while others wear shorts. She uses the shorts variant.

On 22 July, Matsuri debuted her seventh 2D costume. She uses short hair with, short twintails, she can use a white mob cap with fluffy animal ears. Matsuiri wears a long light blue jacket, on top of it she can use a white apron with ruffled edges. Matsuri has white, saggy socks and shoes with blue heels. She can also hold a white teddy bear and a drink in a blue can.

On 9 November, Matsuri debuted an Ebifrion hoodie for her sixth 2D costume.

On 29 January, Matsuri reached 1,500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream, making her the 22nd member in hololive and also the 3rd member in the first generation to reach the milestone.

On 8 March, she debuted her hololive 6th fes. Color Rise Harmony 3D idol costume during the event's day 1 STAGE 1. The costume has some variants, it can be black or white, complemented with a color representative of the talent. The midriff can be covered or not. One has variant has a skirt while the other uses pants, with one leg exposed. Aside for the design featured in promotional material, the costume also includes a short jacket.

Matsuri also released her sixth original song "LOVE LETTER."

On 7 July, she released her seventh original song "Holomem Exercise."

On 22 July, Matsuri debuted her eighth 2D costume.

On 1 November, Matsuri announced her first album "Chasing the Dream ~After School Spotlight~" and released her eighth original song "U-NYAKA."
