Shiina always talks in a formal way and uses lots of words to express her thoughts, but it doesn't prevent her from shouting insults whenever she gets angry. Under her evident taste for refined things and her usual calm, Shiina likes pulling out slightly shocking puns. Even if she knows she is supposed to control herself and keep her composure, Shiina can't help manifesting her most thirsty instincts over very seductive video game characters.

Otherwise, Shiina interacts a lot with her community and likes sharing about her personal experiences. Thus, Shiina encourages her viewers to improve their life to have a better opinion of themselves. She jokes sometimes about her lack of skill at video games, but still tries her best to make all her streams entertaining. Shiina considers herself as an old woman, which is why she allows being called "Meemaw".

Appearance

Shiina is a small girl with very long blond hair almost touching ground, which internal surface is a night sky filled with constellations. When Shiina moves, her hair let this sky scroll around and can reveal more constellations. A white ribbon and a scissors shaped pin decorate her head. Her eyes are deep blue.

Shiina sometimes shows her giant pair of scissors. Her outfit includes: a white shirt with transparent surmounted by long black ribbons, with an opening exposing partially her flat chest but tied with thin black belts in diagonal, a purple ribbon at her neck, black underwear she can cover with a short transparent veil, and long white high heel boots.

Her Twitter account was created in December 2021. Her YouTube channel was created on 27 February 2022.

On 18 June 2022, during Phase-Connect's one year anniversary, they announced their new Generation labeled as "PhaseALIAS". On 24 June 2022, Phase-Connect revealed PhaseALIAS's members and their debut schedule. After the announcement, Shiina made her first tweet and uploaded her first video on YouTube channel. On 5 July 2022, she released her first official cover song "CH4NGE" by Giga. On 7 July 2022, she announced her debut schedule. On 9 July 2022, Shiina debuted, at the end of the stream, she revealed her second cover song "Comet" which would take place on 11 July.

  • She can speak English and knows a bit of Japanese, Mandarin and French.
  • Chinese is her native language, but she moved to Canada and learned English before moving to the US. Shiina took to the habit at a young age of speaking formally.
  • Her goals are: get better at drawing, draw everyone in Phase-Connect, improve singing skills, write a song, inspire and encourage viewers to live a healthier lifestyle, get 3D model and perform live at a major event, voice acting role, and taste and determine the finest ketchup brand on the world.
  • Shiina shares her illustrator with Usada Pekora of hololive, Tsukiyoi Avi of Varium, Komori Met of VSPO!, Hananoki Maru of Uniraid!, as well as the independent VTuber Yuuki Sakuna.
  • Originally Shiina wanted to become crab VTuber but Sakana decided against it, citing it was because crabs weren't cute. Other identities that she was suppose to be included being a judge and a swam VTuber before eventually locking in on being a seamstress. Sakana did help in choosing Shiina's name as well.
  • She did eventually get a crab hoodie outfit after reaching her 12.5k goal during her Donathon though. And also had Sakana admit it was pretty cute through Superchat during its outfit debut.

Shiina is the celestial seamstress who sewed the stars into the night sky with the powers granted to her as the wielder of the celestial sewing scissors. Shiina is a shy but refined girl who has an earnest quality about her. Having been around for eons, Shiina has amassed an ungodly amount of knowledge making her hard to fool. On the flip side, she can be a bit grumpy at times due to her long life, and her personality dictates her putting in 120% into everything she does.

2022

On 11 July, next day after her debut stream, Shiina's Twitter account was banned because a misunderstanding when the Twitter bot thought her cover song teaser video violated the Twitter rules.

On 29 July, Shiina celebrated her YouTube channel monetization with an unarchived karaoke stream, she also reached 10,000 subscribers during the stream.

On 27 August, she opened membership feature on YouTube channel.

On 16 December, Shiina's YouTube channel reached 20,000 subscribers.

2023

On 11 January, she reached 30,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 14 January, she revealed her second outfit, in which she only wears red slippers and a crab hoodie with gloves shaped like pinchers.

On 7 July, Shiina celebrated her birthday and revealed some new assets. Her mascot Dan Butter Cook got an upgrade. She can also display two additional haircuts on her first model: a long pony tail in her back, and long curls.

2025

On 14 February, Shiina released her first original song, "ihopeudontforgetme".

On 22 September, Shiina reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 11 October, she revealed her 3rd outfit, a meme banana hoodie featuring new rigging and a toggle that reveals a yellow cocktail dress, with a persona known as 'Shiinana".

On 14 December, she revealed her 4th outfit, that being a sailor one.
