Amanogawa Shiina

Shiina always talks in a formal way and uses lots of words to express her thoughts, but it doesn't prevent her from shouting insults whenever she gets angry. Under her evident taste for refined things and her usual calm, Shiina likes pulling out slightly shocking puns. Even if she knows she is supposed to control herself and keep her composure, Shiina can't help manifesting her most thirsty instincts over very seductive video game characters.

Otherwise, Shiina interacts a lot with her community and likes sharing about her personal experiences. Thus, Shiina encourages her viewers to improve their life to have a better opinion of themselves. She jokes sometimes about her lack of skill at video games, but still tries her best to make all her streams entertaining. Shiina considers herself as an old woman, which is why she allows being called "Meemaw".

Shiina is a small girl with very long blond hair almost touching ground, which internal surface is a night sky filled with constellations. When Shiina moves, her hair let this sky scroll around and can reveal more constellations. A white ribbon and a scissors shaped pin decorate her head. Her eyes are deep blue.

Shiina sometimes shows her giant pair of scissors. Her outfit includes: a white shirt with transparent surmounted by long black ribbons, with an opening exposing partially her flat chest but tied with thin black belts in diagonal, a purple ribbon at her neck, black underwear she can cover with a short transparent veil, and long white high heel boots.

Her Twitter account was created in December 2021. Her YouTube channel was created on 27 February 2022.

On 18 June 2022, during Phase-Connect's one year anniversary, they announced their new Generation labeled as "PhaseALIAS". On 24 June 2022, Phase-Connect revealed PhaseALIAS's members and their debut schedule. After the announcement, Shiina made her first tweet and uploaded her first video on YouTube channel. On 5 July 2022, she released her first official cover song "CH4NGE" by Giga. On 7 July 2022, she announced her debut schedule. On 9 July 2022, Shiina debuted, at the end of the stream, she revealed her second cover song "Comet" which would take place on 11 July.

• Her Mascots as of 2025 are a crab shaped cookie with the face of her plush, Little Bee called a "Crabee" and partially burnt cookie to represent the original "Buttercookies".
• Dan Butter Cook (DANish BUTTER COOKies), a circular cookie tin is the mascot that holds her fanbase of "Butter Cookies".
• She has a Ditto transformed as a Muk (a Ditto Muk) holding a gray lint ball friend named "Bloobert". Bloobert was decided by a poll during a stream on YouTube after many tries. Many viewers mistakenly thought the poll was for naming the Ditto
• Her fanbase is called "Butter Cookies".
• Some of her Butter Cookies are are designed as green crabs because their pinchers make think of Shiina's scissors.

• "Yellow star women" - alongside Kaneko Lumi.
• "Project Orion" - alongside Kaneko Lumi and Jelly Hoshiumi. Their first original song "Lone Star" is released on Phase-Connect Music channel.
• "A/SLUR" - alongside Chisaka Airi, Rinkou Ashelia, Fujikura Uruka, and Himemiya Rie. They don't have any group songs, but they like hanging out together.

• Her species is Celestial Seamstress.
• Based on the story during her debut stream, after landing on Earth, Chisaka Airi found and brought her home because she mistook her for a 5 star character.
• Her ship is restored Celestial Ark called the "A.S.S. (Amanogawa Shiina Ship) Thousand Kani".

• She likes: singing, drawing, cooking, reading (BL, Fanfiction), stairmaster, and collecting lint to make big lint balls.
• Her favorite food are: spicy food, watermelon, butter cookies, and ketchup (one of the great inventions).
• She dislikes:, olives, mushrooms, black holes, in Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones, loose threads on clothes and plushies, silverfish, Sakana's deadlines (the longest deadline that Sakana gave her was two weeks), and thinking.
• Her favourite streamer in flesh used to be Moonmoon, on Twitch.
• One of Shiina's favorite animals is crab.

• Her first name "Amanogawa"「天の川」in Japanese means "Milky Way".
• She can speak English and knows a bit of Japanese, Mandarin and French.
• Chinese is her native language, but she moved to Canada and learned English before moving to the US. Shiina took to the habit at a young age of speaking formally.
• Her goals are: get better at drawing, draw everyone in Phase-Connect, improve singing skills, write a song, inspire and encourage viewers to live a healthier lifestyle, get 3D model and perform live at a major event, voice acting role, and taste and determine the finest ketchup brand on the world.
• Shiina shares her illustrator with Usada Pekora of hololive, Tsukiyoi Avi of Varium, Komori Met of VSPO!, Hananoki Maru of Uniraid!, as well as the independent VTuber Yuuki Sakuna.
• Originally Shiina wanted to become crab VTuber but Sakana decided against it, citing it was because crabs weren't cute. Other identities that she was suppose to be included being a judge and a swam VTuber before eventually locking in on being a seamstress. Sakana did help in choosing Shiina's name as well.
• She did eventually get a crab hoodie outfit after reaching her 12.5k goal during her Donathon though. And also had Sakana admit it was pretty cute through Superchat during its outfit debut.
• Originally, her name was suppose to be called "Amakawa Shiina". She changed it to her current name as it looked prettier in Japanese.
• She confirmed that she types a bit slow, about 38 words per minute.
• She made her overlays and ending screen herself.
• She shows preference for mature men, more precisely what she calls "peepaw" type, like for example Geralt from The Witcher series.
• Shiina especially likes Ninomae Ina'nis, notably because thanks to her she awakened her passion for drawing that she lost in the past after a frustrating phase in her life.
• She owns Sad Bee plushies, including 1 that has formed an emotional attachment to named "Little Bee" and carries around with her since 20 July, 2024.
• Slept through a Drive By Shooting as a child.
• She designed the original concept for her first model outfit and noted that the transparency effect on the front of her outfit did not have time to be corrected due to the model being delivered 15 days prior to debut
• Occasionally has to take blood pressure medication; sometimes because of H2oSakana.
• Has a work voice which is a lot lower register than her voice used typically on stream. However, she has used her work voice very seldomly on stream before.
• Originally, during pre-debut, there was discussion about which voice she should use and on her being Makina Erina if she used her "work voice". In the end, she decided it was more comfortable speaking with her current voice.
• Accidentally crashed H2oSakana's 2024 Mercedes Benz SUV into a boat.
• As of 2 October 2025, Shiina started ending her sentences with the word "cookie / kuki" as a bet with chat to see if it'll drive chat crazy before it drives herself crazy.
