Following the popularity of their "Official NIJISANJI Virtual Livers," Ichikara Inc. opened a second set of auditions on 22 February 2018, featuring Riri as one of the available designs. On 15 March, Ichikara Inc. formally revealed their second generation of Virtual Livers, introducing them as members of the group "NIJISANJI.
