On 23 December 2021, WACTOR's Twitter account announced auditions for its fourth generation "GATE" showing the silhouettes of five designs open for audition. In the introductory video, Yue was shown as "Member No.1 Elf."
On 3 January 2022, the designs for the fourth generation were revealed during a stream on Hizuki Miu's channel.
On 15 February 2022, her YouTube channel, Bilibili and her Twitter were created. On this day she also made her first tweet.
Yue made her debut on 20 February 2022, in which she talked about her likes and dislikes, using her drawing skills to explain herself, as well as her singing skills. Her first performance was the opening of Kantai Collection, Miiro by Akino.
Recasting and re-debut
A new Twitter account for Yue was created in April 2025.
On 15 April, Yue's YouTube channel uploaded a new video announcing the return of Saohime Yue with a new voice under WACTOR Inc's rebranded 910inc agency. In the video, this new Yue announces that the original voice for Yue had been replaced and that the original voice agreed to it, despite the fact that she had been inactive since 2022.
On 25 April, Saohime Yue held her re-debut stream under 910inc as "Sahohime Yue" (佐保姫ユエ).
On 30 April, Sahohime Yue released her first cover song, "Petals" (ハナビラ) by Naisho no Pierced Earrings.

Sahohime Yue = Yue is a noble elf girl who has come from the elf country to study human otaku culture. Saohime Yue = She originally lived in a remote elven village with an enchanted border to the human world (similar to the Peach Blossom Garden from The Peach Blossom Spring fable). One day she accidentally found out about the Internet because she sent back to the human world a human child who accidentally got lost there. Since then she has been addicted to human culture and fashion and crossed the gateway from the depths of the mountains and remote forests into the human world.

Yue has declared herself in charge of the purity (seiso) of WACTOR, although this facade would later be disproved by herself.
2022
On 22 April, Yue reached 20,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 19 June, her Twitter account reached 10,000 followers.
On 30 June, Yue released a collaborative cover of Hoshina Suzu, on the occasion of Suzu's graduation. The song they performed is ODDS&ENDS by ryo (Supercell) featuring Hatsune Miku.
Retirement
On 8 November, Saohime Yue's activities were suspended for health reasons. This would prove to be her last update, as WACTOR never provided any further updates or official confirmation of Yue's recovery, retirement or termination.
