About
Hizuki Miu is a female Japanese VTuber who debuted in October 2018 as part of the Mirais unit under WACTOR and later became an independent member of WACTOR's META-MUSIC branch. After a hiatus, she resumed her activities and redebuted in March 2024. She streams content including ASMR, chatting, gaming, cooking, drawing, free-talk, and singing.

Personality
Miu is a cheerful and lively VTuber with a charming voice and very dedicated to her fans. Being the oldest member from WACTOR and leader of the former "Mirais" unit, she is highly-admired by her peers and fans for her hard work and experience, and is often considered by both groups to be the "senpai" or most "idol-like" of the group. She also is very eager and curious about learning or trying out new things, such as languages and overseas culture. However, she considers herself very shy and remains very humble regarding her influence and career as a VTuber.
On the other hand, she can be a bit sassy at times, and occasionally unveils a "sadistic" or "S" side to her personality, which has made her go as far as boasting about being the leader and show dominance over her kouhais. She will also sometimes call and treat her fans as "perros" (Spanish for dogs), "spanking" them and thanking their superchats with "Nice, perro." However, this is just Miu being playful with chat and indulging their "masochistic" roleplay jokes.
She also has a thing for boobs, and isn't really that uncomfortable expressing it, although she does it mostly for the giggles.

She has long white hair in a ponytail and green eyes with pointed animal ears and a green and yellow ribbon attached.

According to a Q&A, Miu applied to WACTOR between April and May 2018.
Her Twitter account was created on July 2018, while her YouTube channel was created on 15 August. Her first tweet was published on 16 October, and, according to another tweet, her YouTube debut took place on 21 October, however that video is no longer available. The oldest video currently available on her channel is from 22 October.
On 18 December, Miu became a bilibili member and published a presentation video, which was then reuploaded on 10 March, 2019. According to a post on the platform, she made her first bilibili stream on 17 March.

2019
On 15 June, she reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 5 August, she teased on her Twitter account an announcement for her next stream. The next day on 6 August, she debuted her 3D model during a stream.
2020
On 5 January, she posted a short video in which she presented an incoming costume design, with a collared shirt, a short necktie and a small sleeveless jacket, which replaced the previous white uniform. Several details and accesories were added to the skirt, thighhighs and shoes, and also, detachable cat ears. On 17 January, she debuted her new 2D costume.
On 16 May, she announced her 3D costume would be updated to fit the new design, and on 24 May, she debuted her new 3D costume.
On 18 June, she announced on her Twitter account that she would debut her first original song. On 22 June, she released her song "Acapella Heart" composed by 40mP.
On 24 November, she reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance singing stream.
2021
On 16 January Miu posted a presentation video in Spanish in order to connect with that fanbase. This quickly became the most watched video on her channel and caused a sudden spike in subscriptions, reaching the top 5 most daily subscribed VTubers for many days around late January. Since then she has started to use Spanish in her streams and tweets, even uploading a Spanish subbed version of her introductory song, and covers of many popular Latin American hits.
On 22 January, she held her 70,000 YouTube subscribers celebration.

On 11 February, her 2D model was fine tuned to include more facial expressions and fluid movements.
On 16 March, she posted on her Twitter account that an "important announcement" from WACTOR would be made on her channel, which premiered the next day and ended up being the annoucement of the auditions for WACTOR's second generation.
On 13 May, she reached 150,000 YouTube subscribers, but held a proper celebration later on 29 May, with a cooking stream.

Hiatus
On 1 June, Miu announced that she would be taking an indefinite hiatus following the end of the month with a final stream on 25 June. After this date, all of her social media aside from her Twitter, YouTube and BiliBili accounts would be deleted.
Return
On 16 January, WACTOR announced that Miu will be joining as an MCN affiliate of its new agency 910inc, and return to activities on 23 March. She remains an independent through this arrangement and not a full member of the agency.
2025
On 24 June, Miu announced that her YouTube channel got banned, again. The cause was her ASMR archives, which she deleted. She then created a new channel for ASMR, where she intends to reupload the archives that would be deleted from her main channel.
On 27 June, her banned main YouTube channel also got removed by YouTube apparently for violation of its Community Guidelines.
On 1 July, she posted an update saying she was working on getting her YouTube channel back.
On 10 August, she posted about her difficulties in trying to recover her channel which ultimately proved unsuccessful, and announced her plans to go on a trip to think about the future of her activities, while keeping her Twitter updated until the end of August.
Retirement
On 31 August, Miu announced her retirement and that she would be returning the character IP, channels and social media accounts to her former company WACTOR (now rebranded as 910inc).

- On 28 May 2020, it was announced in Famitsu that she would make an appearance in the game Neptunia Virtual Stars as one of the VTuber guest characters alongside Kogure Piyoko and Mitsurugi Lia.
- On 31 December 2020, she participated on Bilibili's VI Fire vs Ice Singing Battle ( 氷と炎の歌合戦VI / 冰火歌合战VI ) event on Team Ice, which lost against Team Fire 4,614 votes to 5,093.
