On 12 July, Saku reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Retirement and return
In November 2018, Saku retired from NIJISANJI Gamers for undisclosed reasons, ceasing all activities after premiering a farewell montage on 11 November and privating most of her channel's content. Two months later, on 16 January 2019, Saku announced that she would be returning as a member of NIJISANJI, and her content was made public again.
2019
On 16 January, Saku reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 3 April, it was announced that Sasaki Saku, along with three other members of NIJISANJI (namely Dola, Rindou Mikoto, and Akabane Youko), would be getting an update to their 2D models. She showcased her updated model in a stream on the next day.
