On 12 July, Saku reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel

Retirement and return

In November 2018, Saku retired from NIJISANJI Gamers for undisclosed reasons, ceasing all activities after premiering a farewell montage on 11 November and privating most of her channel's content. Two months later, on 16 January 2019, Saku announced that she would be returning as a member of NIJISANJI, and her content was made public again.

2019

On 16 January, Saku reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel

On 3 April, it was announced that Sasaki Saku, along with three other members of NIJISANJI (namely Dola, Rindou Mikoto, and Akabane Youko), would be getting an update to their 2D model. She showcased her updated model in a stream on the next day.

On 17 June, Saku held her official 3D model debut livestream on YouTube.

  • Saku was scheduled to perform at the Zepp DiverCity Tokyo venue on 5 March 2020 as part of the concert tour NIJISANJI JAPAN TOUR 2020 Shout in the Rainbow!, but unfortunately, the live event had to be canceled due to the dangerous climate surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • On 27 February, Saku participated in the NIJISANJI VALORANT Custom event organized by Lauren Iroas and Naraka as team "Nyon Nyon Peak" along with Naraka, Fuwa Minato, Nagao Kei, and Kitakoji Hisui.
  • On 26 March, Saku and her team "SaSaShiiFu" returned in Play Alive Fall Guys vol.2. They claimed 3rd place in the final ranking.
