Etymology
- Aiba means "phase, aspect, countenance, mutually, fellow" (相) (ai) and "feather" (羽) (ha/ba). * Uiha is written in hiragana (ういは), which has no special meaning. However, when part of the name Ui (うい) is written in kanji (愛衣, 愛, 右伊 or 宇衣), it could possibly mean: ** 愛衣 - "love, affection" (愛) (u) and "clothing, garment" (衣) (i). ** 愛 - "love, affection". ** 右伊 - "right" (右) (u) and "that one" (伊) (i). ** 宇衣 - "eaves, roof, house, heaven" (宇) (u) and "clothing, garment" (衣) (i).
