Personality

Millie is often sweet and endearing to her fanbase, but aggressive when she blurts out 'cursed' comments and retorts to her debut-mates and fellow Livers. She is quick to spring onto anything that catches her attention with little regard to whether or not it's actually a good idea which, more often than not, leads to chaotic conversations with her. Although she has a reputation for being one of the most aggressively risqué livers in the English branch, she gets embarrassed surprisingly easily, especially when someone responds similarly to her advances or genuinely praises her.

She has a very close relationship with Enna Alouette, her debut-mate. Both of them frequently share fond memories from their past of hanging out with one another during collab streams.

Millie regularly does gaming streams, zatsudans, discussions about anime and other random topics, and ASMR streams once a week.

Appearance

She has short blonde hair with hair pins resembling whiskers, and a two ball hair accessory that helps form an ahoge. She has turquoise blue eyes, and a cat shaped mouth. She wears a large oversized witch's hat with two tips that resemble cat ears, one big orange ribbon, and a gray checkered smaller ribbon at front. Atop the right side is an orange eyed black cat named Lucie, wearing a purple ribbon around their neck, and sporting a large pearly grin with a wink. The hat has a teal brim and has three small black ribbons and two insignia stickers underneath. The insignias reference a cat motif and the initials short for "The Apprentice Witch", as well as the words "THE WITCH OF CALAMITY". She also wears a white polo shirt with a yellow green bell and a large black ribbon tied around her neck, topped with an orange cardigan with a pin resembling Lucie that sports a star and heart for its eyes, and a hoodless, but twin-tailed caped jacket with a teal and purple interior respectively. The jacket also sports logos or short phrases such as "TAW", "THE APPRENTICE WITCH", "Mjo", "DOKAAAAAND", and "I DO NOT SEEK. I FIND...". Both the top of the hat and the bottom of the jacket also have a tag attached that reads "APPRENTICE WITCH" alongside a black cat logo resembling Lucie. She wears a black laced, checkered skirt, mismatched tights with a belt on her left thigh. She wears black boots with teal heels and black soles that are adorned with orange ribbons at front. She holds a black fork with a black cat charm resembling Lucie at the end and an orange ribbon tied at the fork's neck as her wand.

Background

On 18 June 2021, NIJISANJI EN opened two sets of auditions, one of which was for an all-female wave of four. Silhouettes of the new Livers' designs were shown, one of which was designated "Cat of Darkness." The all-female auditions lasted until 11 July. YouTube channels for NIJISANJI EN's third wave were created on 14 September 2021, and their Twitter accounts were also created in September 2021.

On 5 October 2021, NIJISANJI EN announced the upcoming debut of its third group, "Ethyria," revealing a teaser featuring the new Livers' full designs and voices.

Debut

Ethyria made their debuts on 9 Oct 2021 (JST) as part of a special debut program hosted on the NIJISANJI EN channel, with commentary provided by OBSYDIA. Millie was the second of the group to debut. Her debut stream featured a three-part motion graphic introductory video featuring original songs by Millie and voice acting by fellow members of Ethyria.

Afterwards, all four members of Ethyria joined the main channel's special program to receive OBSYDIA's congratulations. Ethyria's first original song, "God sees all," premiered shortly after the program. This song was written and produced by ChibiNyan.

Mascot and fans

Her fans are known as "FaMillie".
Her mascot is a black demon cat named Lucie, who is the actual "Cat of Darkness". She is often seen sitting on Millie's witch hat, or Millie's shoulder when the girl isn't wearing her hat.
Her membership is called "Robe Enjoyers".

Lore

According to her introductory lore video, she was accused of witchcraft as a child and about to be burned at the stake, but was saved by Lucie in exchange for forming a pact to become a witch. She relocated to the underworld and became the Great Witch of Calamity. One day in the underworld, she met Enna Alouette, who gave her a parfait laced with "Pomu leaf." Addicted, Millie used her magic to travel to Earth to find more parfaits, only to discover that her magic didn't work there, leaving her stranded. While trying to fit into human society, she was overwhelmed by work stress and financial instability, so she became a VTuber and relocated to a cardboard box in Elira's basement.
Her magic wand appears to be her grandmother's fork from when she was a human child.
Her mascot, Lucie, is the Overseer of Hell and appears to have the power to travel between parallel timelines.
According to her original song "Reincarnation", Millie has seen the other members of Ethyria die in other timelines. In order to prevent their deaths, she made a second pact with Lucie and fused with her, granting her time powers but forcing her to watch over "all timelines for eternity".

A running gag is Millie's desperation for romance or a significant other. She, jokingly, flirts with both male and female Livers, even creating shipping tags for herself with Mysta and Fulgur. Her advances typically end in failure.
Another running gag is that Millie's viewers often joke about being more interested in Millie's hat than Millie herself.
She has close ties with Indonesian VTubers, including from both NIJISANJI ID and hololive Indonesia.
Rather than Parfait, her last name was originally supposed to be "Starfall".

On 19 December, Millie's "First Step Goods" merchandise and Christmas 2021 voice pack went up for sale.

On 23 December, Millie released a belated birthday present to the fanbase in the form of an MV of her cover of "Marshall Maximizer" by Hiiragi Magnetite Feat. KAFU on her channel. This was marked as her first song cover.

2022

On 31 January, Millie and Enna Alouette released a cover of "Identity" by Kanaria Feat. GUMI and Hatsune Miku on her channel. This marked as her first duet cover.

On 21 March, Millie reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 2 June, Millie released a "shitpost" song, "Sana ako na lang".

On 21 November, Ethyria announced during a collab that they would be getting new costumes on 26-27 November (CST). Fans could submit predictions for Millie's outfit on Twitter using the hashtag #MillieMilkers.

On 26 November, Millie revealed her second outfit, nicknamed "Queen of Clubs", which differed from the silhouette shown in the trailer. She wears a lacy dress with tiny black bows and white flowers, a black corset, and a cyan club choker, She sports long, curly twintails with pink and turquoise highlights, a braid with a black bow, and a small gold crown. In this outfit, she sports cat ears and a tail, symbolizing her fusion with Lucie. In place of her magic wand fork, she wields a tall, golden fork-shaped staff. 2023

On 19 February, Millie released her second "shitpost" song, "[KLN - Kaibigan Lang Naman]."

On 17 April, she reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 30 June, the NIJISANJI EN Official Twitter account announced that Millie, along with Fulgur Ovid, Ver Vermillion, Morinaka Kazaki, and Umise Yotsuha would be receiving a 3.0 BRUSHUP.

On 29 July, Millie was able to finally showcase her 3.0 Brushup after numerous delays.

On 9 October, Millie released her second original song, "Magic is all around", in celebration of 2 years and a love letter to her community, the FaMillie.

On 1 November, Millie released her third "shitpost" song, "So Did You."

On 3 November, during Reimu Endou's birthday stream, the unofficial group called NijiUK created by Petra Gurin, Reimu Endou, Enna Alouette and Millie Parfait in Fall 2021 announced that after a proposal of the members to management and the approval, that the group would become an official unit in NIJISANJI EN and would be renamed as Zuttoღo (meaning forever friends in English). This marks the first time an official unit happens in NIJISANJI EN, similar to how the same has been happening for years with units in NIJISANJI. As a unit, all members will still continue in their original waves (OBSYDIA and Ethyria respectively), but will now officially also be in this official group. Alongside this announcement, they also announced that all members would get a third outfit themed with each other, with each member having a season as a theme.

On 25 November, Millie was the last member of zuttoღo to debut her new season themed outfit. Her outfit was themed after the season of "Winter". She wears a sleeveless white dress with a pink ribbon and a yellow bell alongside a green plaid skirt, a pair of double ribbon shoes, a large pink coat, a large white scarf with puffy balls designed to look like a ribbon from the back, a blue cat beanie, a white shoulder bag with pink ribbons and a large golden keychain (with zuttoღo elements), a new mostly braided hairstyle with no hair accessories, and a toggle that allows her to carry Lucie in her hands.

2024

On 13 March, Millie announced she would debuting her fourth 2D outfit on 5 April. Fans could submit predictions for Millie's outfit on Twitter using the hashtag #MillieMilkers.

On 5, April Millie debuted her fourth 2D outfit, a Multiverse Travelling Merchant. It included two new facial expressions.

On 7 April, NIJISANJI announced Ethyria would be getting 3D models, Millie would be showcasing her 3D model on 19 April.

On 19 April, Millie debuted her 3D model and the skits involved multiple NIJISANJI members from both the EN and the main branch.

On 12 September, Millie and Finana Ryugu released their original song, "Fly Away", as part of the NIJISANJI EN project: ENcounter.

On 9 October, Millie released her third original song, "Don't Trick Me".
