On 6 December, VIRTUAL TALENT ACADEMY announced 10 names of 3rd batch academy students.
On 9 December 2022, Yusei held his first stream as VTA student on VTA YouTube channel.
On 12 March 2024, NIJISANJI announced that Kitami Yusei would be graduating from VTA and debuting as NIJISANJI Liver.
