She has an energetic, playful and bratty personality, liking to prank her peers and fans. Often on Sundays, she likes to remind her fans that the next day is Monday, earning her the nickname Otonose Monday, which she is displeased by.

She has light reddish eyes with long blonde hair in a side ponytail in a red ribbon with pink underneath and music note hair clips. She wears a white jacket with bows and piano key accents and a sailor uniform like beige dress. She wears light vanilla flats with red bows on them.
Background
Kanade was inspired to join hololive after their various group songs left her with the impression that the agency took music production seriously. At audition, she sang Onsha no Inu, a song about an interviewee who pledges to be the company's dog. She also played the Yu-Gi-Oh! BGM Passionate Duelist on recorder, to the interviewers' amusement. She initially failed in her first audition, but was accepted at the second attempt.
Kanade's YouTube channel was created on 21 July 2023, and her Twitter account was also created in this month. A YouTube channel for hololive DEV_IS was created on 21 August.
hololive DEV_IS was initially teased during the conclusion of hololive's "SPLASH PARTY! Night" concert with a short video on 27 August 2023. The teaser was also shared later that day on both hololive's Twitter account and hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel.
On 29 August 2023, the hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel released short videos of the members in a countdown leading to the project's reveal, Kanade's teaser was the second featuring a solo member of the group.
On 4 September, after finishing the countdown, hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel introduced the group "ReGLOSS" along with the music video "Shunkan Heartbeat", revealing the identities of all its members as well as their channels and social media accounts. Kanade also made her first tweet on this date. Kanade's teaser video from hololive DEV_IS channel was also uploaded to her personal channel, now fully displaying her face.
On 7 September, hololive DEV_IS's YouTube channel uploaded another preview video, this time showing ReGLOSS' members actual models and appearances outside of their unified group clothes.
Kanade debuted on 9 September 2023, the second ReGLOSS member to do so. After the stream, she released her first solo cover song "Namae no Nai Kaibutsu" by EGOIST.

- On 9 December 2024, SWEETS PARADISE announced a collaboration café with -ReGLOSS-, featuring limited menus and merchandise. The collaboration would be available from 4 February 2025 to 16 March 2025 at 3 SWEETS PARADISE stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.
- On 13 September 2025, BEMANI announced a collaboration with ReGLOSS, featuring three types of merchandise and a CD single with four cover songs and an original group song "Shooting Star." The collaboration would be available from 29 September to 25 November 2025.
