On 27 December, hololive's official Twitter account announced that Nene would get a new main costume. Because of this new design, Nene didn't get a New Year costume or a 3D model announcement alongside the other 5th gen members.

On 18 January, Nene reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 31 January, Nene revealed her new main costume. Her new main costume is bear themed as she can wear bear ears on her buns and paws on her hands, bear heads silhouettes on her corset and a bear themed bag, her new dress has a peach shaped cleavage, the primary colors of this dress are white, yellow and brown, on top of her dress she can wear a white jacket with a badge that reads "HAAAN" above a peach. Unlike other members that get new looks and costumes this is the first time that a 2D primary appearance is completely replaced by a new one, with the change being made even on her official profile on hololive's page. During the reveal section of her stream, she reached an attendance of over 100,000 viewers.

On 2 March, she reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during her birthday celebration stream, making her the 34th hololive member to reach this milestone and the last of her generation.

On 13 April, she announced on her Twitter account that she would receive her 3D model.

On 18 April, Nene debuted her 3D model, Nene also debuted her second original song "Lunch with me."

On 10 May, she reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 21 July, she reached 700,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 13 August, during her 1st anniversary 3D concert, Nene debuted her third original song "Momonone."

On 8 September, Nene announced on her Twitter account that she would receive her second 2D costume.

On 11 September, Nene debuted her second 2D costume (not counting her original outfit as that outfit has been discontinued). In this costume Nene got two new hairstyles, one a long side ponytail and the other twintails that retain some of the small flower decorations present in her main costume. Nene wears an oversized green jacket with a big white collar decorated with an orange ribbon, the jacket also has star shaped buttons and oversized heart shaped green pockets. Under it Nene can also use a brown, sailor fuku inspired sweater with a red-plaid ribbon around the sweater's collar and two small white ribbons. Finally under these two cloth pieces Nene wears a white blouse, with a red-plaid skirt that includes a brown opening to the side, white loose socks and red shoes. This costume can be combined in multiple ways by adding or removing the green jacket and the brown sweater.

On 25 September in celebration of the fifth generation first anniversary, Nene got a new hairstyle. Nene uses loose hair with a braid on the right site with light blue and fuchsia lights, on top of it a layered pink and brown ribbon, the center has a smaller crossed yellow ribbon decorated with a pink flower.

On 27 October, Nene debuted new accessories during a stream playing Dark Deception, the accessories consist of an angel's halo and floating wings, the halo sparkles and the wings slowly move up and down.

On 29 October, she reached 800,000 subscribers during a Rhythm Heaven endurance stream.

On 9 November, the MV for Nene's original song "NENENENENENENENE! DAIBAKUSOU" was released.

On 11 November, Nene debuted new accessories to go with her second 2D costume, consisting of a brown beret with a small heart on the left side and glasses.

On 16 November, she entered an indefinite hiatus due to mental health issues.

On 5 December, she resumed activities with a 3D chatting stream.

On 10 December, her 2D model was updated with some new expressions including stars in her eyes, tears, among others.

On 12 December, Nene debuted her 3D Christmas costume. This costume is shared among all members. A red short sleeve and off the shoulder Christmas dress along with some new accessories are a small bell on her neck, a small Christmas hat, reindeer ears and horns.

On 22 December, Nene debuted new accessories for her second 2D costume, a Santa hat and beard.

On 28 December, hololive's Twitter account announced that Nene and sixth gen members would get "new year" costumes.

On 1 January, Nene debuted her third 2D costume, a furisode to celebrate the new year. In this costume Nene got two new hairstyles, straight short and straight long, both share the same accessories, a big blue ribbon on the back of the head and a big white flower ornament on the left side with small fucshia and white flowers to its right, from the center of her head to the right she wears small hais accessories in various colors, the long hairstyle version adittionally has red ribbons in her locks to the sides. Her outfit includes a sleeveless white blouse decorated in the collar with a long black ribbon, the top part of her furisode is white with a pattern of flowers in red and blue, the furisode has a long blue plank skirt, tied to her left with a blue ribbon. Nene wears short white ribbons and black shoes with black see-through socks with a star pattern. The outfit is complemented by a white, shiny shawl.

On 7 February, she debuted a new accessory for her second 2D costume. A white seal themed mini hoodie, with somewhat pink shades, to the left side the seal has two flower ornaments present in most of Nene's outfits another flower is present on her right arm, the hoodie is adjusted by a dark brown lace with big white pom poms in the tips, the edge of the hoodie is orange.

On 16 February, she reached 900,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 7 March, hololive's Twitter account announced that the members of the fifth gen would get their 3D idol costumes.

On 13 March, Nene debuted her 3D idol costume.

On 21 March, Nene debuted a new accessory for her main 3D model, being able to wear the same white jacket as her main 2D model.

On 12 August, during her 2nd anniversary countdown, Nene debuted two new 3D hololive ERROR-themed costumes. The first is the 19XX dark blue sailor uniform. The second is the winter 20XX uniform albeit without the black blazer jacket.

On 18 August, as part of the "hololive Summer 2022" event, Nene debuted her 3D swimsuit in a stream held on hololive's official fanclub page in a segment featuring Amane Kanata, Shiranui Flare and Sakamata Chloe. Unlike the original swimsuits from 2019 that had individual designs, these swimsuits are meant to be matching outfits similar to the 3D idol costumes. The swimsuits come in two types one with thin straps for the top and a diagonal cut mini skirt and the other one has ruffled straps in the top and an even mini skirt. Both version are white with various patterns including hololive's and Holoearth's logos, hearts and sparks. The swimsuits are personalized by including different colors to match each talent. Additionally they have the option to wear a hoodie.

On 2 September, Nene debuted her 3D. Like other 3D costumes the yukatas have a variety of styles that hololive members can choose from. The yukatas come in various colors and patterns including fireworks, flowers and goldfish.

On 22 October, Nene released the fourth single "Ring-A-Linger", which would be the ending theme song of 's "Kawashima Yamauchi no Manga Numa" show from November to December 2022. She also released her first physical EP "nenene no ne".

On 3 December, Nene reached 1,000,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an subscriber endurance stream, making her the 33rd hololive member to reach this milestone, and the last member of 5th generation to reach it. This makes NePoLaBo the third generation in hololive where every active member has reached 1 million subscribers.

On 19 March, Nene debuted her new 3D idol costume during hololive 4th fes. "Our Bright Parade" DAY2.

On 28 March, during her birthday stream, Nene released her fifth single "Congra CHU☆March."

On 8 June, hololive's Twitter account announced that Nene would get her fourth 2D costume.

On 10 June, Nene debuted her fourth 2D costume. She uses a shorter wavy hairstyle complemented with hairpins that include one with her name and a removable visor slightly turned to the right along with a thin ponytail to the side decorated with a big red ribbon and an inverted heart. Nene wears a white strap crop top with a black and pink edge on the upper section, the top has her last name "Momosuzu" written on it and decorated with star prints. The top has a pink ribbon that goes from her right shoulder to the left. Underneath she uses a black sport top. Her midriff is exposed. Nene wears a multilayered pink mini skirt with a ruffled edge and white planks decorated with stars. The skirt is decorated with a big pink and blue ribbon decorated with an inverted heart, to the right an orange Nekko is hanging from her skirt. On her right thigh Nene has blue and pink stars painted. She uses white high socks and roller skates with pink and blue elements. Nene can also wear a white blouse with long sleeves tied to the side below the chest. The blouse has a print that reads "Cheer Neko" with an orange Nekko to the right. Nene can also hold pompoms.

On the same day she released her sixth single "Michishirube."

On 7 July, hololive 5th generation held their concert "Twinkle 4 You," during their performance they debuted new personalized 3D yukatas. The yukatas have a striped pattern matching their main costumes color scheme. Their yukatas have a pinwheel as decoration in their obi. Nene wears a orange, pink and olive green yukata. Her yukata has a red and orange five petal flower pattern.

On 1 August, as part of the "hololive Summer 2023" event, during Sakura Miko's 5th Anniversary Live, Nene debuted her second 3D swimsuit. The 2023 swimsuits are inspired in a sailor uniform. Members wear a two layered swimsuit, the first layer is blue from the straps going down diagonally to the center where each member has a mostly blue bow but one of the sides and the brooch are in one color representative of each member. The rest of the top is white. The edge has a semi circular cut. The lower piece of the first layer has two variants, one is a two layered blue skirt decorated with a white belt, a golden chain with some decorations hanging from it and a bow to the left and planks to the right. The second version is mostly the same but they wear blue shorts instead of a mini skirt. Nene uses the skirt. The second layer of the outfit is a matching striped bikini in white and another color depending on the member.

On 13 August, during her third anniversary, Nene debuted her new hood.

On 21 August, Nene's main 2D model was updated to the 3.0 version. Her eyes can be sparky and teary. Her pupils can become heart shaped and she can stick out her tongue.

On 27 October, Nene released her seventh original song "Nenechi's Giragira Fan Meeting." Its full music video was released on 11 December, after her 4th anniversary stream.

On 13 November, as part of the "Hoshimatic Project," she debuted new 3D lesson wear. She uses a white short shirt with black wide lines at the shoulders and lower edge with her name in it and a black top underneat, the shirt is decorated with a small triangle representing the hololive brand and its color is different among the members. The outfit has variants, some members wear black pants while others wear shorts. She uses the pants variant.

On 29 November, Nene debuted new accessories for her fourth costume, including a new short hairstyle and a small pink ribbon. She can also use her right side ponytail hairstyle from the second costume.

On 5 January, as part of NePoLaBo's third anniversary, Nene debuted new accessories for her fourth 2D costume. Nene has a new hairstyle using wavy twintails. She also has pink ribbons, flower hairpins and a crown made of Nekkos. Nene also received a pink cape with golden elements.

On 10 May, to celebrate 1000 videos on her YouTube channel, Nene debuted a new long hairstyle and a light blue crop top for her fourth 2D costume.

On 22 July, hololive's Twitter account announced that Nene would be taking a break from streamng and social media activities. This announcement combined with her suddenly canceling her previous stream on 14 and a few tweets about her problem that made fans worried. But Lamy, Polka, and Botan tweeted to reassure everyone that everything was fine.

On 12 November, Nene returned to her activities. During the stream, she debuted new accessories for her main 2D model, including a Nekko on her head and a pink microphone.

On 31 January, Nene debuted her fifth 2D costume. Nene has a variety of hairstyles, using short hair with buns and thin braids or buns with twintails, in both her buns are covered in white cloth with pink ribbons and bells. Nene can also use the bob haircut from her new year costume, the wavy short hair with short ponytail with the "Nene" hairpin from her fourth 2D costume. Nene wears a dress in orange, white and pink with various decorative. The dress has detached, wide sleeves. Nene uses white, long socks. Her costume has a variant in purple inspired in a including the hat, and the arms to the front.

On 8 March, she debuted her hololive 6th fes. Color Rise Harmony 3D idol costume during the event's day 1 STAGE 1. The costume has some variants, it can be black or white, complemented with a color representative of the talent. The midriff can be covered or not. One has variant has a skirt while the other uses pants, with one leg exposed. Aside for the design featured in promotional material, the costume also includes a short jacket.

On 29 March, Nene debuted her new 3D costume during her 3D birthday stream. Nene has thin twintails with wavy, light blue ribbons and white flowers as decoration and can be complemented with a white beret. Nene wears a fairy inspired outfit. She uses a shoulderless white top with light blue assets, it has white flowers in the cleavage and to the side, below the chest it has a blue butterfly and a cut in the midriff. Nene has puffy, white shorts also decorated with a blue butterfly. She uses a golden leg belt. Nene wears long, white socks and blue shoes. Her costume has a variant with puffy, detached sleeves, blue fairy wings and a featherly-like blue skirt that cover her shorts.

On 19 July, Nene debuted her sixth 2D costume. Nene has braided twintails and straight bangs, her hair is decorated with various hairpins. Nene wears a sleeveless, white shirt with a red plaid pattern, on top of it she uses blue shortalls with a decorative heart, pins and pink binoculars. In the shorts, she carries a pink heart-shaped magnifying glass, a bug cage and Tamagotchi-like virtual pet. Nene uses asymmetrical socks, one with white and red stripes and another light blue with a clouds and stars pattern, she also wears baggy, white socks. She has white and blue sneakers with pinks assets. Nene can also wear a white coat with oversized sleeves with stains and multiple pins. She can also use round glasses and put her index finger in her cheek.

On 15 February, Nene debuted two new hairstyles for her sixth 2D costume.

On 2 March, during her birthday, Nene released her tenth original song "Liminal" and announced her first album "Peachful Story."

During the first gameplay stream of Good Job, she revealed that she wanted to create an idol (demolition) company with her being its CEO and sole talent. As a result, fans calls her CEO, or Pres.
