Altare is a quite relaxed individual with a sweet voice. At first sight, he seems kind and generally protective towards his Tempus companions, but he manifests sometimes an evil side and claims being the Demon God King. Despite all evil actions he does, he claims to be a seiso idol. His fellow guild members respect him as their leader.
Background
The existence of HOLOSTARS English -TEMPUS- was first teased by hololive's Japanese Twitter account on 14 July 2022, with the launch of the TEMPUS website.
On 16 July, Omegaα returned to their Twitter account after months of inactivity posting a two pages manga related to TEMPUS lore.
On 17 July 2022, hololive English Twitter account revealed various details regarding TEMPUS including their social media accounts and debut dates. Altare made his first tweet on this date and a small teaser video was uploaded on his YouTube channel. His YouTube channel was created on 13 June 2022.
On 22 July 2022, Altare debuted on YouTube.

The founder of Adventurer’s Guild TEMPUS. The first-ever adventurer to set foot in Elysium, he dislikes stagnation and the status quo. He is childish at heart and generally bungles everything he touches, and yet he is inexplicably popular among his peers. His earnest straightforwardness may well lead to him being called a “hero” one day. “The masses chose not to act. So I’ll take a stand in their stead.”
2022
On 24 July, after the debut of all TEMPUS members, a video was posted on the HOLOSTARS English main channel announcing the first original song for them, making them the first hololive Production branch and unit to receive an original song after their debut. On the same day, he reached 100.000 subscribers making him the first HOLOSTARS English member to achieve this milestone.
On 6 August, Altare's channel was open for monetization.
On 11 September, all TEMPUS members' channels have opened their membership feature.
On 16 October, Altare did a Terraria collab with Alban Knox, making this the first HOLOSTARS English and NIJISANJI English collaboration to happen.
On 1 November, he reached 200,000 subscribers being the first HOLOSTARS English member and overall the sixth in HOLOSTARS to achieve the milestone.
2023
On 31 July, Altare premiered the first episode of his weekly podcast series called "National TEMPUS Radio". It was originally a project that was supposed to feature the members of TEMPUS HQ (Altare, Axel, Magni, and Vesper), but plans fell through due to the retirement of Magni Dezmond and Noir Vesper, so the guest list was expanded to include TEMPUS Vanguard (Bettel, Flayon, Hakka, and Shinri).
2024
On 10 February, Altare debuted his 3D model.
On 22 July, Altare made a livestream to celebrate his two years in HOLOSTARS.
On 21 November, Altare announced a month break from streaming to focus on his health problem.
On 23 November, he reached 300,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
2025
On 27 February, Altare returned to his activities.
On 3 May, Altare debuted his second 2D outfit.
On 27 September, HOLOSTARS English members debuted their 3D idol costumes during the online concert "EVERGLOW: Light of Elysium."

Name
- Regis is Latin for "king." It also means "to steer," perhaps referencing the ancient use of the stars as a navigation guide to sailors.
- Altare is Latin for "altar", and is the root of the English word. It is homophonous with the name of the star Altair, although that has a different etymology from the Arabic, meaning "eagle."
- As revealed in one of Altare's Minecraft streams, three of the four original members of Tempus were named for the stars of the Summer Triangle. Altare himself was named for Altair, a star in the constellation Aquila. The name of that constellation also means "eagle" in Latin, and the feathers are an intentional reference to this. Dezmond and Vesper are named for the stars Deneb and Vega, respectively, while Axel Syrios is named for the star Sirius in the Winter Triangle.
